I am a UCSB student, but I am home for the summer (until I go back to school in mid-September), so I will have plenty of time to care for your fur-babies! I am available anytime of day, all days of the week.

I am extremely responsible and detail-oriented, and I will do whatever I can to make sure your pets are safe and happy. I will send frequent updates and pictures as I understand the anxiousness that can come from being separated from your pet. I also have experience with taking care of dogs that need to take frequent medication or have other ailments, as my first dog (an Akita mix) was seizure prone and arthritic but, with much love and care, lived to be 16. She recently passed, so I am eager to love your dogs as if they were my own.

Pet care experience
I've had dogs my whole life, and I truly believe that they are a part of the family. I grew up hiking, training, and playing with my own dogs, as well as pet-sitting for my friends and family in high school. My two childhood dogs were both big and high-energy, so I have experience with dealing with intense personalities-from hyper puppies to senior dogs with health issues. I am also used to walking and taking care of two dogs at once, so if you have more than one pet, I am prepared. Most of all, I love seeing dogs happy, whether that be through taking them on walks or giving them love and attention.

Sage is an exceptionally responsible young woman. She is a student at UCSB but lives in Santa Cruz during the summer where she has taken wonderful, loving care of our two dogs. She has her own van and regularly takes our dogs on long walks throughout Santa Cruz County including to New Brighton beach, Forest of Nicene Marks, Wilder Ranch, and Coastal Dairies. Our dogs love her and get so excited whenever they see her. Sage is super dependable, always on time, and flexible.
