I’m so excited to meet your pets!!
I’ve been around pets my entire life! I grew up taking care of my family’s dogs and cats, and I’ve taken care of family friends’ and professors’ animals for 4 years. I know people’s animals are their family, and that is how your dog or cat will be treated with me! I have taken care of dogs of all sizes and pets with different needs such as animals with anxiety and blind pets. I currently work full time at the University of Memphis. When taking care of someone else’s pet, they are my top priority and I adapt my schedule around the animal and their care! Additionally, I will ensure they are always safe and secure. Whether that means making sure all the gates are locked before letting them out, crating them before I leave, or showing them extra love if they’re feel nervous about their family being away. I will also be sure to leave your home clean and cared for while you are away. I take pet sitting very seriously, and I will treat your pet as if it were my own while you’re gone! I also know consistent communication is key when caring for someone’s animal, and I will be sure to always have my phone on me to send you updates and cute pictures of your pet!

Sage is the most responsible person I know. Every time she dog sits, I can tell that she is devoted because she will constantly return to the house in order to care for the pet. She enjoys playing with animals and is always free to stay with them overnight. She is a person that never forgets a task for someone's pet. I know this, because she is my roommate and she always leaves plans early to make sure the pet is taken care of. If you are questioning whether or not to pick Sage to pet sit, I highly recommend you choose her. She will make your trip less stressful knowing your pet is in great hands.
Sage H. is a consummate professional and diligent caregiver for my dog. She is the type of dog sitter that doesn’t need an instructions note after the first visit. Sage understands what both my schedule and my animals need, and makes sure nothing gets dropped. I trust her to watch over my best friend more than any other.

Schedule
While I do work full time and am in graduate school, I make sure that I am allotting enough time to be able to prioritize your animal. So whether that is waking up earlier to walk them or coming during my lunch break to check on them, I will adapt my routine around your pet!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is a fundamental piece of being able to care for someone’s pet because they are apart of your family. In my home, they will be the only pet around! In your home, I will always verify gates and doors are locked for the protection of your pet and belongings. Additionally, I will ensure leashes and harnesses are put on correctly before every walk! Their safety and happiness is always a priority to me!
A typical day
I will do whatever is best for your pet! If they prefer walks and meeting new friends, I will take them to one of the many amazing parks in Memphis. If they like to relax and hangout, we will keep the fun to the backyard with toys and tunes!
