I recently graduated from Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon, and moved back home to Alaska. My schedule is currently very open, aside from a few occasional babysitting jobs here and there. While I will be looking for a part-time position in the future, I have plenty of flexibility right now to give your pup lots of attention, exercise, and care. I live with my mom, who is also a huge dog lover, so if your dog is boarding with us, there will almost always be someone home to provide companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of love. We both enjoy getting outside, so your pup can expect lots of walks, adventures, and, especially hikes! I love exploring Alaska and spending time outdoors, and I’m always happy to bring a furry friend along for the adventure. Whether your dog loves relaxing at home, going on walks, or getting out and exploring, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your pup!

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique needs, from feeding schedules and routines to favorite toys and any special quirks they may have. When I’m in your home, I work hard to maintain your pet’s usual routine so they feel safe and secure while you’re away. I also treat your home with the utmost respect and make sure your pet isn’t left alone for long periods, especially if they’re used to having company. If your pet is staying with me, I create a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment where they can relax and feel at home. I’m always mindful of safety, keeping anything hazardous out of reach and supervising interactions if other animals are involved. I love keeping pet parents in the loop with regular updates and cute photos. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else’s care, and I truly value that trust. My goal is to make your pet feel loved, safe, and happy the entire time we’re together.

The most important thing for me to know ahead of time is your pet’s behavior and personality. I don’t have any preference when it comes to breed or size, love them all! Just like I have my own quirks, I completely understand if your dog has some too, and I’m happy to work with them to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.

A typical day with your pup would include plenty of activity and love. I’d be happy to take your dog on walks and hikes to get fresh air and exercise, and since I go on a run or walk every day, I’d love to have a furry companion join me. Whether it’s exploring a trail, playing fetch, or just relaxing together after some activity, I’ll make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and cared for.

I’ve had pets quite literally since the day I was born, and I absolutely adore them. Being away at college, I miss my own pets so much, so I’m always thrilled to pour all that love and attention into yours. I grew up with a dog-aggressive rescue pup from a shelter, so I’m no stranger to big personalities or behavioral quirks. Whether your dog is a total lovebug, a bit of a diva, or somewhere in between, I’ve got the experience and patience to meet them where they’re at. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—from wild zoomy puppies to sweet seniors who just want a nap buddy. I especially love going on walks and hikes (bonus points if your pup enjoys sniffing every single leaf 🍃), and your dog will feel like my little companion while we explore together. Basically, if your pet likes affection, adventure, and a sitter who talks to them like a best friend... we’re going to get along just fine. 🐾

Sage was a wonderful sitter for our Bernese Mountain Dog young boy. She handled his high energy with lots of patients and long walks.
