A typical day
A typical day caring for pets begins with ensuring all animals are comfortable, fed, and settled. For dogs, this includes taking them out for regular walks tailored to their energy levels, followed by playtime, treats, and plenty of positive attention. I am happy to assist with grooming where needed, whether that involves brushing, coat care, or basic hygiene. For cats, I make time to sit and interact with them through play and companionship, as well as gentle grooming if required. Throughout the day, I monitor each pet’s wellbeing, routines, and behaviour to ensure they feel safe, stimulated, and well cared for in a calm and loving environment.

Pet care experience
I have extensive experience caring for dogs, having looked after them for much of my life. This includes volunteering at greyhound shelters, where I was responsible for walking, handling, and providing daily care. I am also a dedicated pet owner to a cockapoo, giving me hands-on experience with the specific grooming, exercise, and attention needs of companion animals.

When Safia looked after my 2 cats (Titch and Storm), she was amazing with them. She loved and cared for them as if they were her own. She would give them all the love, care and attention the cats would want, as well as looking after them with food, water and letting them run about. After speaking with her further, I could see her love for animals come out. She had informed me of her 2 pets at home (Ted who is a dog and Tabs who is a cat). She would tell me about how they are her pride and joy and would drop everything she was doing for them if needed. Safia is a must if your pets needing looking after and I would highly recommend her for stuff like this.
