Loves dogs & works from home next to Sutton Park!
I joined Rover in January 2024 and have lost count of all the dogs we’ve had the pleasure of looking after, including a Dachshund, English bulldogs, Spaniels, Labradors, Border Collies and mixed breeds and rescue dogs of all varieties! I offer a home away from home, where I live with my partner Steve and my mum. We have a large garden and are located next to Sutton Park where Steve and I love to walk and run. I grew up with a Border Terrier and began regularly dog sitting my wider family's dogs before joining Rover as I really enjoy getting to know different dogs and their personalities. While your dog is in our care, we treat them like our own. We only take on one dog (or dogs from one household) at a time, so we can give them all our attention and love. A typical day would include a walk in the morning before I start work, playtime in the garden around lunchtime, and a walk in the evening, with plenty of toilet breaks and cuddles throughout the day. On weekends we sometimes take dogs on days out to places like Cannock Chase, Kingsbury Waterpark, and Matlock Bath, or a nice dog friendly cafe, pub or garden centre (we will always get the permission from owners beforehand). I send plenty of photos and videos throughout their stay so you can see what they’ve been up to. I ask that drop offs are after 9.30am on weekdays, and after 10.30am on weekends and that pick ups are before 7.30pm. If we sound like a good match for you and your dog, please get in touch with some details about your dog, such as their temperament with people/other dogs, if they’ve previously stayed overnight at a kennels or dog sitter, their typical routine, and any health or medical needs.

Saffron and her partner had Reggie for a long weekend and he absolutely had a great time! Both of them so lovely, loads of updates and photos which is very re assuring and nice to see him having so much fun! Will be using again for sure xx
Lady had a lovely time with Saffron and Steve and we received multiple updates throughout the day which really put us at ease! I think Lady could have stayed longer! We have already booked Saffron for September! Thank you for cuddling and looking after our little baby.
This was our second booking with Saffron and Steve, and we will definitely be booking stays with them in the future too. They were excellent with our very energetic border collie, took him for lots of long walks, sent us regular updates and photos, and accommodated all his needs. Both Saffron and Steve are so friendly and lovely to chat with as well, cannot thank them enough :)
Saffron was great! She kept me updated with regular messages and photo updates of Bruno. He had a great time and we will definitely book with Saffron again 😊
Amazing edd really enjoy time with you
Saffron kept us well updated with Mac’s twice daily walks with photos each time. She also sent photos of him relaxing on his bed in her lounge. When we picked Mac up he very happy and well looked after. Mac is already booked in for June and we are very comfortable that he will again be well looked after 🐕🐾

Schedule
Steve and I both work from home so we’re around throughout the day to provide care and company for your dog. While I occasionally attend meetings, Steve and I manage our schedules to ensure that your dog is never left alone.

Our home has a large garden, with plenty of room for running, playing and sniffing around. Your dog will have full access to the house, and are more than welcome to cuddle up with us on the sofa.
