I work a part time job where I find out my schedule weekly. My job entails a 4-7 hour shift where I am completely free after. I am also a student but have yet to begin courses for the fall.

I’m a lover of all animals and understand the importance of care and attention that comes with taking care of our furry friends. As a cat parent myself, I wouldn’t want anything but the best and most attentive sitter and through that experience, I have the drive and need to make sure all pets are getting the care and stimulation they need as animals. I also have two parakeets and while having a cat and birds in the house wasn’t easy at first, through training and lots of patience I successfully managed to have my own kitty befriend our two parakeets.

A typical day
Our day would entail lots of stimulation and exercise for high energy pups and kittens. For dogs, I would take our friend to the closest dog park and/or walking around the neighborhood and somewhere close to home! For kitties, I like to use lots of treat finding toys that simulate hunting for cats.

I volunteered all throughout my high school years at the humane society and still try my best to help out and donate when I can. I have three pets, and have had many more in my life and hope to have even more when I’m given the proper opportunity and safe environment. Through my years of being a pet owner I know that animal care isn’t all that easy and isn’t for everyone. It requires hard work, patience, and lots and lots of research. I pride myself in being vigilant with care instructions as every animal is different even when it comes to the same breed.
