Availability
I have obligations from 10am-12pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, but otherwise I'm completely available until college classes start on August 19th, when my hours will be cut back every weekday morning (busy from 9am-12pm). I don't mind early morning walks and feeding.

I'll be asking a lot of questions to ensure my care is tailored to your pet's needs, and to build your trust in my capabilities. I'm more than happy to learn the kennels, feeding systems, and "flow" of animal care in your own home to avoid the unnecessary stress and change for pets that comes with boarding.
Information Sadie S. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences- I'm more interested in your pet's personality! What are their usual behaviors inside the home and on walks? Do they need extra attention in certain areas? What do we need to avoid? What do they love?
A typical day
To build on the comfort of staying in their own home, your pet's day will be structured according to their daily routine. That means morning/evening meals at the usual time, lots of potty breaks, a walk or two (or three!), playtime when they still have energy, and naptime when they don't. And, of course, a ton of extra attention and praise.

Pet care experience
I had two rambunctious but precious dogs growing up, so I'm not put off by a tough exterior. I know a mean bark does not equal a mean soul. I've dog, cat, and house sat for friends and teachers in the past, and most recently I've been volunteering at Addie Catz Sanctuary, so I'm well accustomed to cleaning messes, navigating reactive animals, and loving on pets. I'm more than happy to answer any questions :)

Reviews
I highly recommend Sadie as a pet sitter! I had the privilege of knowing her as both a student and someone I trusted to care for my own dogs, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. Sadie was one of the top students in her class and was an outstanding member of Student Council. She has always been incredibly responsible, dependable, and trustworthy. Those same qualities carried over when she cared for my dogs. She stayed overnight in my home while I was away, and I had complete confidence in her. She treated my home with respect, communicated well, and made sure my dogs were well cared for. Most importantly, my dogs absolutely adored her! It was obvious they felt comfortable, loved, and safe with her, which gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, kind, honest, and genuinely loves animals, Sadie is an exceptional choice. I would trust her with my pets again without hesitation and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful pet sitter.
Sadie is the best! I have two dogs with opposite personalities - one is a "grumpy old lady" and wants constant affection, and the other is more energetic, barks at everything, and can be unpredictable - Sadie easily adapts to comfort and support each of their needs, which in turn comforts me. Sadie is also an excellent communicator and will keep you posted on your pup.
Sadie has been volunteering for quite a while with us at our cat sanctuary. Out of the goodness of her heart, she consistently comes twice a week to help us care for the homeless animals we take in. She is an important part of our organization and we are so grateful to have her on our team! She is a gentle, kind soul and the animals respond well to her easy energy. She's also very responsible, reliable, & trustworthy. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a good human to care for your pets.
I'm a middle school teacher and a single mom.Sadie was friends with my daughter, so when we went on vacation for a week we hired her to look after our apartment and two cats. She watered plants, fed the cats, and came over everyday despite having school and soccer practice. She sent us a picture of the cats everyday and sent simple updates. When we came back the place was perfectly clean and the cats were content, you couldn't even tell she was there!
