Pet care experience

Experienced, Reliable & Patient

I’ve loved and cared for animals my whole life. For the past 5.5 years, I lived in New York City with my Mini Australian Shepherd, Ozzy, who I raised from a puppy during COVID. Ozzy was (and still is!) my best friend. He slept in my bed every night, came on adventures with me, and was truly part of my family. When I moved to the UK in March, I had to leave him with my parents in the US because he’s reactive and the move would have been too stressful for him. I miss him every single day. Owning a reactive dog taught me patience, how to read canine body language, and the importance of creating calm, positive experiences for every dog. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including puppies, seniors, and reactive dogs who need a little extra understanding. I genuinely love dogs, and if your pup stays with me, they’ll be treated like part of the family—not just a pet. Whether they love cuddles on the sofa, long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing by your side, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while following the routine and house rules you prefer. I also grew up with cats, so I’m just as happy caring for feline family members too. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone else because that’s exactly how I’d feel with Ozzy. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel completely comfortable, with plenty of updates, photos, and care you can trust.

Sadie is a great pet giver. She grew up with dogs and had a dog of her own for a long time. She treats dogs well, loves to play with them and take them on walks. She is a great communicator and will do well as a dog walker!

"We have hired Sadie on many occasions to watch and walk our dog, and we couldn’t be happier with her care. Sadie is incredibly kind, caring, and it is immediately clear how much she truly loves dogs. It brings us such peace of mind to leave our pet knowing she is in such loving, capable hands while we are away. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and affectionate pet sitter!"

Sadie is incredible! My cat is in very safe hands with her. Not only does she watch him and care for him, she takes the time daily to groom him even though I said it isn’t necessary. Litter box is always spotless as well. She loves watching him and he is always meowing when she has to leave! Best cat sitter ever, and so reliable x

Schedule

I work full-time in recruitment, but I have a very flexible hybrid schedule and typically only work from the office 1–2 days each week. On work-from-home days, I’m around throughout the day for walks, toilet breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I absolutely love dogs, and your pup will receive lots of companionship, cuddles, and care. My home is also just a 5-minute walk from Hyde Park and under 10 minutes from Holland Park, so they’ll enjoy plenty of outdoor time and exciting walks.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I know how important it is to trust someone with your dog because I felt exactly the same way about my own Mini Australian Shepherd, Ozzy. I’ll follow your dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medication, crate training, sleeping arrangements, and any special instructions. My mews house provides a calm, home-like environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. We live within a short walk of both Hyde Park and Holland Park, giving plenty of opportunities for safe, enriching walks and exercise. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. I only take a limited number of bookings at a time so every dog gets plenty of individual attention.

A typical day

A typical day will include plenty of attention, playtime and walks around the neighbourhood and nearby parks. I’ll tailor the day to your dog’s usual routine and energy levels, with lots of time for games, exploring, cuddles and relaxing at home.

Please let me know about your dog’s usual routine, temperament and any special needs or behaviours I should be aware of. It’s also helpful to know how they are around other dogs, their feeding schedule, walking preferences and anything that helps them feel comfortable and at home.
