TLDR - I have experience with many types of dogs with varying needs. I have two kids (ages 12 and 14) and many other creatures in the home. I ama available for drops ins and walks, but longer term engagements would have to be at my home. I have a fully fenced yard and can welcome a dog to come stay in my home. Growing up with dogs, I learned to understand their personalities and body language. I'm the person that will introduce myself to your dog down on their level. I have previous obedience training experience and have taken three dogs to state for competition. I have house trained countless puppies, so I'm happy to support an owner in the trenches of the puppy years. I am available for weekend visits and afternoon walks every day. I have two daughters, aged 12 and 14, who have lived their life around pets of all sorts and know how to be respectful. They have assisted in leash training several of my dogs and a friends' puppy, and have taken on the responsibility of feeding pets through the years. I also have a senior dog that enjoys socializing with other dogs. If your dog is not comfortable with children and other dogs, or you don't want to worry about my kids' behavior around your doggo, I am happy to arrange my visits with your dog to be just me. If you need overnight stays, your dog would need to stay in my home.

In my own home I have a fully fenced yard and space to run around. When I am out of the home I kennel my own dog, who has anxiety and that helps her feel more secure. I take my own dog for walks twice a day

Having Sadie sit our dog and cat was a dream! She came over to meet them in advance, and was so communicative while we were out of town. She took our dog for a walk twice, which was definitely above and beyond! She also sent pics every day which was also so sweet. Thanks, Sadie

Sadie took such amazing care of my senior pup, Ollie, while house sitting over a long weekend. I am so thankful for her consistent communication (including cute dog photos) during her house sitting, so I could enjoy my vacation and not worry about how my dog was doing. She was easy going about Ollie's on-going medical condition, anxiety and neediness, especially the first night as he got used to having a new friend stay overnight at the house. I really appreciate how she also brought a package inside the house for me, and really just left things super tidy I could not really tell anyone had been over. Ollie had a great time, in fact he was unimpressed by my homecoming (probably already missing Sadie and Penny) so that gives us the big seal of approval. I would not hesitate to book with Sadie again and plan to do so over the summer.

Schedule
I work full time but have the option of working partly remote, so I am available more flexibly throughout the day when staying in a person’s home. I have a car so I am able to travel outside of my immediate neighborhood for pet care or house sitting.
