• Feeding routine: What they eat, how much, and what times they’re fed (including any treats or foods to avoid). • Medical needs: Any medications, allergies, or health conditions, plus the vet’s contact information. • Behavior & personality: Are they shy, energetic, anxious, or aggressive? Do they get along with other animals or strangers? • Daily routine: Walk schedules, potty habits, sleep habits, and any specific routines they’re used to. • Emergency info: Owner’s contact details, a backup contact, and what to do in case of an emergency. • House rules: Where the pet is allowed (furniture, rooms), crate training, or any training commands they follow. • Triggers & fears: Loud noises, certain people, or situations that may stress them out. • Favorite activities: Toys, games, or things they enjoy to keep them happy and engaged.

A typical day

A typical day caring for pets starts with making sure they feel comfortable and safe. In the morning, I’d begin with feeding, fresh water, and a potty break or litter box check. After that, I’d spend time giving them attention—whether that’s cuddling, brushing, or just sitting with them so they feel at ease while their owner is away. Throughout the day, I’d plan fun and engaging activities based on each pet’s personality and energy level. For dogs, that could include walks around the neighborhood, playing fetch, tug-of-war, or even light training games to keep their minds active. If they enjoy social time, I’d give them lots of affection and interaction. For cats, I’d do interactive play with toys like feather wands or laser pointers, along with some quiet bonding time since many cats enjoy a calmer environment. I’d also make sure they have cozy spaces to relax and feel secure. In the afternoon, I’d check in again with feeding (if needed), potty breaks, and more playtime or relaxation depending on their routine. I’d also keep the home clean by tidying up pet areas and making sure everything stays organized. In the evening, I’d wind things down with another walk or play session, dinner, and some calm time so the pets can settle in for the night feeling happy and cared for. My goal throughout the day is to keep pets active, comfortable, and loved—sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine so they feel safe and stress-free.

WHERE THE PAWSOME-NESS HAPPENS!

Pet care experience

Hey fur parents, I just wanted to come on here and provide a 5 star service to you and your fur baby! Here’s a little bit about me… I’ve pet sat, walked pets, administered medication to many pets that require it on a day to day basis (via orally and injection), and many drop-in visits for a little over 5 years now to highly anxious, aggressive, and elderly animals. I’ve also worked it the veterinary field assisting doctors to provide hands on care to your fur baby for a little over a year now. I’m also in with the AKC. I compete with dogs in conformation, agility, dock diving, scent work, and barn hunt etc. and have been doing that for about a year with all types of breeds and sizes. I have always had a special connection with dogs and all animals for that matter and enjoy every second I can get with any of them. I look forward to doing some pet sitting or walking for you and your fur baby!

Sadie has training dogs professionally, led dogs in confirmation, ran a pet grooming business, and much more for many years. Her pet sitting demeanor reflects the highest standard of her own pet ownership. She sends pictures and videos of her clients pets, feeds/waters, and plays with them and is a general joy to be around. Do your pets a favor and hire her and give yourself peace of mind.
