I’ve had pets of all kinds growing up including dogs, livestock and small exotics. Since high school I have worked on and off as a veterinary assistant/technician until the last year when I made it my full time career. Now, I enjoy my work as a small animal ER technician where I am trained to identify and respond to pet emergencies. In college, I trained service dogs and really enjoyed learning more in-depth training. I’ve also worked as an animal caretaker throughout school, taking care of many different exotic bird species.
