My family got our first family dog when I was 8yo. We had her for 16 years and she became senile and had special needs at the end, so I do have some experience with senior dogs. I am comfortable with any size dog and dogs of any temperament. I currently have 1 dog. He is 8 years old and was diagnosed with epilepsy at 2.5yo. He also recently started medication for heart disease. Because of this I have a lot of experience administering medication and working with specific diets and restrictions.
