Hi there! Thanks for stopping by! I am Sabrina and have had dogs since early childhood. I can recall having dogs even before I was 5! My family used to rescue dogs from the streets of my home country, so I have been exposed to small and big dogs. I also have had Dogs from the following breeds: Weimaraner and Japanese Akita. When I moved to Canada, I brought my Akita (Lessie) to live here with me alongside her beagle mixed-breed sister (Mel). They were my last dogs and passed away in 2021 (13 years old) and 2024 (15 years old), respectively. I am now now part of a family of 3 humans (2 adults and 1 toddler), missing the warmth a pet can bring into a home. As I am not ready to commit to a pet’s ownership yet, I decided to open our house and provide the same services I used in the past through Rover. So parents could enjoy a vacation or even a day out. I am a very chill person who likes routine and spends a lot of time at home. As I watched our dogs age, I became experienced in offering medications, dealing with dogs’ anxiety and separation anxiety, and reactiveness (dogs that react to other dogs). I have a big fenced backyard where your pet can have several potty breaks during the day. I would be more than happy to take care of your pet while you are enjoying a vacation. I totally get how stressful is to find a good place for our furry friends to spend time and how parents feel while away. In the past, I also took care of cats during drop-in visits.
