I am self-employed based in Ashland, I offer flexible pet care scheduling, please inquire directly and we will see if I can be available for you. Thank you for choosing me to care for your pets! Due to having my own dog and regular walking clients, I do require to be away from the home for 6-8 hours a day. It will often be less time away, but I must be able to leave for a few hours from time to time.

If you prefer in-home services, I’m more than happy to visit and spend quality time with your pet. Whether it’s walks or supervised play in your home and yard, I’m here to help. Additionally, I offer house sitting services, with the understanding that my dog Nova accompanies me on all stays. Feel free to inquire, and I’ll provide you with your available options.

I highly encourage you to share any special needs or unique behaviors your pet might have, to ensure I can accommodate them appropriately. This includes areas they prefer not to be touched, specific human behaviors that might provoke a reaction, any stress triggers they might have, or existing disorders or illnesses. Additionally, if they struggle on the leash, prior knowledge would be immensely helpful. If your pet follows a particular routine, please provide it to me in writing—digitally or in person—to ensure I can meet their needs effectively. Your pet’s well-being is my priority, so please don’t hesitate to inform me of any specific details I should be aware of! Also, If your dog has been coughing or sick prior to the booking please let me know so that I can prepare accordingly.
A typical day
I’m equipped to take dogs on walks or to parks, and engaging in activities like playing with their beloved toys. For any special requests, I’m flexible and strive to accommodate them. Frequently, I take my own dog hiking in the watershed and other nearby areas. If you’re comfortable, I’m open to taking your pet out for such adventures. Also, if your dog is sociable, I would love if I could bring my dog along on our walks as well! Due to having my own dog and regular walking clients, I do require to be away from the home for 6-8 hours a day. Broke My Back, So I’m Out-Of-Office
Pet care experience
My Pet-care services are currently temporarily paused. I got in a car accident with my dog, Nova. My vintage Toyota Tercel Wagon (Terry) protected me and my dog, but did not survive the crash. I walked away with 4 compression burst fractures in my spine, this means not only am I no longer 5'3" but there are tiny little bone splinters just hanging out amongst my vertbrae. My dog only suffered a severely sprained (smashed) paw. We were so lucky and so blessed to survive with such scratches as these. However, I am prescribed to do nothing for a few weeks. I am in a full semi-cyborg back brace whenever I am out of bed, and while I am sleeping. I’m asking for help to buy myself a new-er car (perhaps with airbags this time around), pay for my ambulance bills, and my dog Nova’s vet bills. Additionally, at least one month of rent, as I am not able to work and am self employed and therefore do not qualify for unemployment benefits. I am not sure if I will be healed in 3 weeks, or in 6, and every day I am immobile is a day that I cannot make money. I am awaiting the ambulance bills my insurance may not be able to cover, there are future X-rays and medical visits for both Nova and I. Not to mention that when I am healed, I no longer have my trusty Toyota to get me to work and I will need to find a new vehicle. Dogs have been an integral part of my life, ranging from various sizes and breeds—bullies, minis, and everything in between! While my experience with cats is slightly more limited, I’ve owned one and lived alongside many others. My life revolves around pets; I consider them one of life’s greatest blessings! Currently, I’m devoted to my own dear Red Heeler lady. I’m here to love your pets as deeply as I do mine!
