The dog park is my hobby!
I dog sit regularly for family and friends. I take my boyfriend’s dog for walks, play, and take him for trips to the dog park while he is at work. The dog is a 50lb labradoodle, so I have experience with larger dogs. My roommates have a cat who I help take care of too. I have spent my whole life volunteering at animal shelters like the LASPCA, and I have a vast knowledge of dogs, cats, and small pets. I have had pets in each of these categories my whole life, and I would love to help take care of your buddy!

Sabra was truly outstanding with my doggo Finn. This was my first time using Rover, and Sabra made the experience incredibly easy. My dog Finn is a 20 lb, mild mannered frenchie with a deep love of fetch, so I anticipated a fairly uneventful stay. I was wrong in the fact that Finn's stay was actually quite eventful in the best of ways! Not only did she ensure he was getting all the fetch he could handle, but he was going on new and enriching adventures each day. He made new pupper friends and explored new places. With each daily update of his latest endeavor, I couldn't believe I had actually considered boarding him at one point. I was genuinely concerned that when I went to pick up my dog, he was going to ask to stay with Sabra instead. To say I recommend Sabra is an understatement. If you need a dog sitter who's going to make sure your dog doesn't even realize your gone, she's your gal.
I’m really impressed with her when she was watching my dog. She made sure to send me pictures and updates consistently throughout the time she watched my dog, Ruby. She took my dog on plenty of walks and even to the dog park which was much needed due to my dog being very energetic.
I met Sabra in college and she handles my cat Captain sooo well. She is very punctual and makes sure everything is back in its place before she leaves. I usually just ask her to feed him and check in when I’m out of town for the night or stuck at work but she has stayed over to for longer trips and was very pleasant. Captain loves her!!!
Sabra was great to my labradoodle Benjy! Benjy actually knows Sabra’s name by now and gets excited whenever I say her name. I don’t think me or Benjy would pick another sitter!

Schedule
I am a law student, so my classes are my priority. I am free weekends, and during the weekdays I have class to work around.

Safety, trust & environment
I have multiple green spaces at my apartment or near my apartment. I would love to take dogs on walks around LSU’s campus or for a trip to the dog park. I have a spacious apartment with lots of free space for playing. I keep dog toys and supplies at my apartment for animal visits. If you have a cat we have scratching posts, toys, and plenty of supervised playing space. Our home is animal-proofed as well!
A typical day
I love to be outdoors and active. With your pooch we’ll try to activities in the neighborhood, get dog friendly treats, play, and relax on the couch!
