Rylie can care for
Availability
My schedule gives me a lot of flexibility to work pet care in throughout the week. I work Tuesday through Friday, 11:45am–6:15pm, and my job is flexible enough that I can usually step out for a quick break to let a dog out or handle a short visit during those hours if needed. Outside of those hours — mornings and evenings, Tuesday through Friday, and all day Monday, Saturday, and Sunday — I'm fully available for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. That means your pet can count on consistent care and attention, whether it's a quick midday check-in or ongoing support throughout the week.

About Rylie L.
Safety, trust & environment
Your home and your pet's routine matter to me just as much as they matter to you. When I'm caring for pets in a client's home, I stick closely to the instructions you give me — feeding schedules, medication, walk routes, and any house rules — so your pet's routine stays as normal and stress-free as possible. I treat your home with respect: doors and gates stay secured, I keep track of anything I use, and I leave the space as clean and tidy as I found it. Safety is always my top priority, whether that's making sure a dog is leashed securely before heading out, double-checking a cat can't slip outside, or keeping an eye out for anything that seems off with your pet's health or behavior. I also believe communication builds trust, so I send photo and text updates during visits, and I'm always reachable if you have questions or last-minute changes. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable handing over your keys and your pet's care, knowing both are in reliable hands.

Pet care experience
I've been around dogs my whole life and currently care for my own cat, so I understand the day-to-day rhythms of both species — feeding schedules, play styles, quirks, and all. What sets me apart is the specialized experience behind that: I work at Woody's Pet Food Deli in Minneapolis, a raw and cooked pet food shop, where I talk daily with owners and staff about nutrition, food sensitivities, and health — so I know how to follow specific feeding instructions carefully and spot when something seems off. I also completed an internship at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota, where I helped care for injured and orphaned animals. That experience taught me a lot about reading animal behavior, staying calm in unpredictable situations, and giving attentive, gentle care to animals who need a little extra patience. I certainly bring a level of care and attention that goes beyond the basics.

Reviews
I have Rylie watch my cat often when I am away on vacation and weekend getaways and she always does a fantastic job. My cat is very scared of everyone and Rylie took the time to sit there and wait for her to come out and be comfortable with her. This wasn't something I asked Rylie to do because I know it can take awhile so the fact that she took the time to do so meant a lot to me. Rylie always follows the instructions I give her and sends me videos and photos unprompted to give me updates. I always know my cat is in good hands with Rylie and I never worry about leaving her when I know she's watching.
Rylie is one of the most caring, dependable, and responsible pet caregivers I know. She genuinely loves animals and goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Rylie is attentive to each pet’s unique needs, provides plenty of affection and exercise, and communicates reliably with pet owners. I would trust her with any pets and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and trustworthy caregiver.
