Because I attend school in Tucson, I’m unfortunately not able to pet sit on a weekly basis. However, I frequently come home during school breaks and holidays, and I would love to spend that time helping care for your pets! During my time at home, I’m available and happy to provide attentive, reliable care. Spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy, and pet sitting is a great way for me to do something I love while I’m back in town.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow all routines and instructions closely so your pet feels secure and stays on their normal schedule. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. I always treat my clients’ homes with respect and keep a clean, safe environment for pets. I’m attentive to details like keeping doors and gates secure, making sure pets are supervised, and ensuring they are happy and comfortable while you’re away. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and needs, so I always try to provide patient, loving care so they feel relaxed and well cared for.

Before watching your pet, I love learning about their routine, personality, and any special needs so I can give them the best care possible. Helpful things to know include feeding schedules, exercise needs, favorite activities, medications, triggers or fears, how they are around other animals/people, and anything that helps them feel comfortable while you’re away. I want every pet to feel safe, loved, and as stress-free as possible in my care!
A typical day
I love making sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and genuinely excited while their owners are away! Some fun activities I like to do include walks, playtime with their favorite toys, fetch, enrichment games, cuddle time, and lots of attention tailored to their personality and energy level. For more active pets, I enjoy longer walks, outdoor play, and helping them burn energy. For shy or senior pets, I focus more on comfort, gentle interaction, and keeping their routine stress-free. I also love sending photo updates so owners can see all the fun their pets are having!

Pet care experience
I have loved animals my whole life and have experience caring for a variety of pets including dogs, chickens, guinea pigs, and fish. Recently, I have been volunteering at the PIMA animal shelter, taking dogs out for the day! I’ve been pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors since middle school, which has given me lots of hands-on experience with different pet personalities and needs. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, and care so they feel happy and relaxed. I also have a very cute dog of my own named Larry, so I know firsthand how much pets mean to their families! I’m currently a student at the University of Arizona majoring in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Business. Being responsible, attentive, and caring are very important to me, and I bring those qualities into every pet sitting job.
