I have over 10 years of pet care experience ranging from fostering, pet sitting, dog walking and currently work 3 days a week taking doggy groups on hikes 🐕🏔️. I have experience with all dog breed groups, ages, and temperaments. (I am a bit of a dog nerd 🤓) I am comfortable and knowledgeable in handling reactive dogs and challenging behaviours. Dogs must be 100% okay with cats as I do have a cat who loves dogs😻 (example: no growling, barking at or chasing cats) Dog walking services: available weekends + Mondays, Tuesdays. Structured walks that are both physically & mentally stimulating for your pup! 🐾

Ryleigh is our number one pick for watching our dog. She is considerate and kind and we know that Comet will be well taken care. Comet comes home well adjusted and loves to see her when we drop him off. We really love it when she sends updates and photos too as it’s so reassuring to see how he is getting along.

Schedule
I currently work Wed, Thur, Fri taking groups of dogs for hikes. I am typically gone for about 4-5 hours on those days. When I am at work I ensure the dogs have had their walks and potty breaks. I also have pet cams to check in. Typically I am not out of the house for more than 5-6 hours. I also live with my partner who is often home during the day. I live in a pet friendly condo and have 1 very chill cat who is very friendly with dogs and cats.

Safety, trust & environment
I have great access to the sea wall, parks, and a residential neighbourhood 1 block away. All dogs in my care will be leashed whenever outside. All my windows are secure and kept closed and AC is on during summer months. My home is clean and free of hazardous items such as small toys, harsh chemicals, essential oils, toxic plants, or enticing items to chew. Equipment I have: large dog crate, slow feeder, long line, kongs, toys, beds, lick mats, brushes. Extra services (additional cost): baths & nail trims.
Pets
A typical day
I do my best to adhere to your dogs usual schedule (feeding, potty breaks, bedtime) to avoid stress or disruption of routine. We can play at the park, walk the seawall, do “puzzles”, lick mats, and basic command training for mental stimulation. I have a basket full of toys to play with as well! I keep their personalities in mind so I can tailor their care 😊 if your pup is high energy we can go for runs and get the zoomies out or if you have a couch potato I’m happy to chill, snuggle and go for leisurely walks. I do not take any dogs in my care to dog parks or off leash as a safety precaution. I have a long lead for them to get the “zoomies” out, play fetch etc.
