I have a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize visits, walks (for dogs), and drop-ins without rushing. I’m able to plan my day around pet care commitments and make sure each animal gets consistent attention, care, and reliability. As I currently have two cats of my own, feeding, playtime, litter box care, and general check-ins are already part of my daily rhythm. On top of that, I volunteer at an animal shelter, which keeps me regularly engaged with different cats and their needs.

I provide care in my client’s home through drop-in visits and/or walks, depending on the pet’s needs. I always follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress free while their owner is away. During visits, I handle feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and any medication needs if instructed. I also make sure each pet gets attention and companionship based on their personality, whether that’s active play or quiet company. I treat every home with respect, keep things clean and tidy, and always prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication with pet parents through updates and photos.

I grew up with both cats and dogs, have two spoiled cats of my own, and spend some of my free time volunteering with cats at a local animal shelter. As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, snuggles, or just having a friendly human around, I’ll do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I also provide plenty of updates and photos because I always want a million photos of my cats when I’m away from them!

I truly believe Rylee was an animal in a past life. She is so in tune with animals and cares for them like her own. There is no one I would trust more with my pets than Rylee. I’ve lived with Rylee before and seeing her interact with my pets is something I think about every day. Her gentleness and kindness, her playfulness and silliness is something I miss watching. There’s something special about someone like her taking care of your pet. She loves them like her own and will do the same for any animal she meets.
Hello I am so happy to write a letter in support of Rylee as a potential member of the Rover team. She is quite possibly the biggest animal lover I have ever known. She has spent her entire life around animals and is currently the most loving cat mom ever. For the last few years, she has volunteered every Tuesday morning before work at a pet shelter in her area and has found it to be so gratifying. She is responsible, reliable, and caring. Any animal lucky enough to be touched by her nurture and passion is very lucky. I would give Rylee my highest recommendation in caring for pets.
My wife Rylee is the most devoted animal lover I know. She spent years as a lead volunteer at her local animal shelter in Austin, TX and our two cats, Madden and Wookiee, are living proof of her patient, attentive care. She grew up with dogs and adores them just as well. Any pet would be lucky to have her looking after them.
Rylee is one of the best sitters I’ve came across. She is punctual, has incredible communication, and just cares so much for all fur babies. I’ve had her watch my cat and several friends dogs/ cats and she’s never fell short of taking incredible care of them. Can’t reccommend her enough!
