Hi! I’m a college student and experienced dog handler with a strong interest in dog training and behavior. I’ve trained my own dog from very little training to advanced obedience, excellent loose-leash walking, and highly reliable recall, including around wildlife and other major distractions. I’m especially comfortable with high-energy, anxious, reactive, and strong-willed dogs. I pay close attention to body language and adjust my approach to each dog, whether they need structure, exercise, mental stimulation, or simply time to feel comfortable. I enjoy long walks, running, sniffing and decompression walks, and using long lines to give dogs freedom while keeping them safely secured. I also naturally reinforce basic obedience and good leash manners during my stays. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, seniors, dogs who pull, dogs needing medication, and pets with more hands-on care requirements. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and provide lots of photos and regular, detailed updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

Rylee is the best! She watched our beloved 11 year old mini-golden doodle at our home while we were out of town. Rylee is professional, responsive, detail oriented, great with communication and most importantly her love of animals is very clear! From our first message exchange and every day of the sitting, Rylee was quick to respond, proactive in setting up a meet and greet, and wonderful in sending pictures plus detailed updates multiple times a day on how Cooper was doing. She followed his schedule and gave him the attention (including multiple medications per day), snuggles and playtime that not only met our asks, but went above and beyond! Rylee put us at ease knowing that our dog was in great hands, being cared for and very happy! I cannot recommend her enough and she will be our go to sitter for Cooper in the future!

Pet care is already a part of my daily routine. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I’m able to dedicate time each day to walks, feeding, enrichment, playtime, and companionship. I live an active lifestyle and regularly go on long walks, hikes, and runs, so I’m comfortable keeping up with high-energy dogs that need extra exercise. I work to maintain each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while in my care.

Safety is my top priority when caring for any pet. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs so I can provide care that helps them feel comfortable and secure. I have experience with puppies, anxious dogs, and reactive dogs, and I pay close attention to body language to help prevent stressful situations before they happen. In my home, visiting dogs can be kept completely separate from my own dog if needed. Outdoor time is always supervised, and I use secure leashes and long lines when appropriate. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.

A typical day
Boarding: Your dog gets multiple bathroom breaks, walks, exercise, enrichment, playtime, and one-on-one attention throughout the day. I follow their normal feeding and medication schedule and can incorporate training and mental stimulation into their routine. House Sitting: I stay overnight in your home and keep your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including walks, exercise, feeding, medication, and enrichment. Drop-Ins: Visits can include feeding, fresh water, bathroom breaks, medication, play, enrichment, and attention. I can also reinforce existing commands or training. Dog Walking: I tailor walks to the individual dog, whether they need exercise, sniffing and decompression, leash-manners practice, or a combination. I aim to spend the majority of the booked time actually walking.
