Disponibilité

I am a veterinary student at K-State so I have class Monday through Friday. While in school I do have breaks throughout the day and I am done before 5 most days, which leaves plenty of time for fetch, snuggles, and walks!

If I could give Rylee 10 stars, I would. There are dog sitters, and then there are the people you trust with your animals, your house, and your peace of mind while you’re gone. Rylee is absolutely the second one. She’s watched our animals multiple times over the last several years through overnight stays and drop-in visits, and at this point I trust her more than just about anyone with them. You can tell immediately that she genuinely cares about animals and isn’t just “checking in” because it’s a job. The communication is honestly next level. We never got generic updates — we got detailed messages, hilarious commentary, tons of pictures, and real observations about how the animals were acting. If the dogs were outside in terrible weather happily chewing sticks like tiny psychopaths, we knew about it immediately or when one of them had decided to become her “study buddy,” basically crawling on top of her in bed, she always kept us updated and somehow made us laugh while doing it. What really separates her, though, is how observant and caring she is. One of our older dogs was diabetic and needed insulin injections, which is obviously something you don’t trust to just anyone. Not only did she handle that confidently and carefully, but she also noticed subtle changes in his behavior and told us she thought his glucose levels and insulin dosage might need adjusted because he was drinking and peeing excessively. She ended up being completely right. Another time she noticed our cat was limping and immediately kept us updated throughout the day, explained what she was seeing, and encouraged us to get him checked out when we got back. Again — she was completely right with what she thought was wrong after we took him to the vet. And then there are the things she absolutely did not have to do. At one point she literally brought grooming scissors from home and spent time carefully cutting mats out of our cat’s fur because she noticed how uncomfortable he was. That’s the kind of person she is. She pays attention, she cares, and she treats your animals like they’re her own. She’s also just genuinely fun to interact with. Years ago when we asked what snacks she liked so we could keep some at the house for her, she said Takis and unsweet tea (still not sure I can fully support the unsweet tea decision). I had never even heard of Takis at the time. Fast forward a few years and now my wife and I are completely addicted to them because she left part of a bag at our house once. So in addition to being an incredible sitter and future veterinarian, she also permanently altered our grocery shopping habits. Our animals absolutely adore her, and honestly I think they’re disappointed when we come home and she leaves. She’s thoughtful, hilarious, ridiculously communicative, incredibly trustworthy, and one of the few people we’ve ever felt totally relaxed leaving our animals with. You can absolutely tell veterinary medicine is exactly what she’s meant to do. We recommend her to literally everyone.
