Big fenced yard!
We’re a dog-loving couple who genuinely enjoy having dogs around, and we’d love to welcome your pup into our home! We have a friendly, easygoing Golden Retriever/ Australian Shepherd of our own who loves having company, so boarding with us is a win-win: your dog gets a loving home and a built-in furry friend, while our dog gets a buddy to hang out with. 🐾 We both work from home, so your pup will have plenty of company throughout the day rather than being left home alone for long periods. Our home also has a doggie door leading to a fully fenced yard, giving dogs the freedom to go outside and come back in as they please while we’re home to keep an eye on things. Our own dog is incredibly easygoing and low-maintenance, and over the years we realized how expensive boarding can be - even for dogs who are happy, friendly, and super easy to care for. That’s what inspired us to become Rover sitters! We want to offer an option for owners of dogs who don’t need a ton of special attention but still deserve to be loved and cared for while their humans are away. If you have an easygoing dog, we think it’s fair that you don’t have a pay a premium to have someone watch them! We’re especially happy to care for friendly, relaxed, and low-maintenance dogs who enjoy hanging out with another dog. Our goal isn’t to run a high-volume boarding business. We simply love dogs and enjoy having them in our home. We’ll send lots of updates and photos throughout the care, and we’ll be more selective with scheduling your dog because we want to make sure they’re a good fit with us and don’t plan on watching multiple dogs at a time. If your dog is the type who is happiest playing and lounging around, making a new friend, getting some attention, and feeling like part of the family, they’ll fit right in with us! We’d love to meet you and your pup! ❤️

Ryker and Esther accepted a same day booking and it looks like my pup had a great time with them and their dog! They also sent pictures and fed him dinner and seemed very nice. Would definitely recommend!
Ryker is a wonderful dog sitter and clearly takes great care of his own dog, Costco. Costco is such a sweet, happy, and well-loved dog, which really shows how much care and attention Ryker gives her. He is responsible, attentive, and genuinely loves spending time with dogs. I would absolutely trust Ryker to take great care of any dog!

Schedule
Ryker works from home full-time, and Esther works from home two days a week, so there is always someone home with the dogs. Our schedules allow us to provide regular supervision, playtime, and outdoor breaks throughout the day ❤️ We only accept boarding dates when we know we’ll be available to care for your pup. If something unexpected comes up that requires us to be away for an extended period, we’ll communicate clearly with you ahead of time. 🐾

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog will have plenty of room to relax and explore in our fully fenced yard, giving them the freedom to enjoy some outdoor time in a safe, enclosed space. We have a doggie door built into our storm door that the dogs are welcome to use throughout the day, so they can go in and out as they please. We can also close the doggie door when the weather isn’t suitable. Fresh water is always available, with water bowls kept filled throughout the day. 🐾 Our home is also shared with our very friendly 60-pound, 3-year-old Golden Aussie, who absolutely loves meeting new dogs and having new friends to play with! We’ll make sure introductions are comfortable and that all dogs have a safe, relaxed environment during their stay. ❤️

A typical day
We have tons of toys for the dogs to play with, and they’ll have plenty of opportunities to hang out and play together. We’ll let them run around and explore our fenced yard, with the doggie door available so they can go in and out as they please. Since we work from home, we’re usually home and supervising throughout the day, with plenty of time for play, cuddles, and attention. We’ll also send lots of pictures and updates so you can see how much fun your pup is having! After a full day of playing, exploring, and getting plenty of exercise, the dogs usually settle in for a nice, tired nap and sleep really well at night.

- We’re a great fit for friendly, gentle, easygoing dogs who enjoy playing and socializing with other dogs. We especially love breeds like Goldens, Labs, Corgis, Aussies, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and similar friendly family dogs! 🐶❤️ To keep boarding simple and comfortable for everyone, we ask that dogs be fully house-trained and not require medications or other specialized/extra care. We’re also ideally looking for dogs who aren’t particularly messy or heavy droolers, since they’ll be sharing our home with us and Costco. If your pup is happy, friendly, house-trained, and relatively low-maintenance, they’ll likely be a great fit for our home! Please be honest about their behavior and anything we should note ahead of time.
