When I care for other people animals I start with going over the instructions of care the owners has provided with them while asking questions that will benefit me and the animals later. I then follow the feeding, exercising, and cleaning practices the owner has asked me to follow. While doing this I also watch how the animal is reacting to me and how much affection the animal itself needs from me, so I’m not overwhelming them.

I have helped my mom care for animals my entire life. Throughout my teenage year I helped her care for 3 pit bulls and also helped at the shelter that she worked at walking the dogs and feeding the animals. As I grew older I had my own animals, such as a cat, lizard, multiple mice, and a dog I had trained from a puppy. I have recently moved and had to rehome my dog and would now like to use my experiences and love for animals to help other people.
