I have 6 years experience caring for dogs. Dog walking and boarding have been my main activities. Im always learning and working on improving my dog care skills and knowledge. I have taken care of a variety of dogs of all sizes, breeds and ages. I care deeply about animals and all living things. The majority of my experience is with dogs however I also have limited experience with cats and horses as well. I am a very compassionate, accepting person, and I appreciate honest and respectful communication as well as I try my absolute best to provide this to all of my pet care clients.

Ryder was great! My puppy (5 months old) had a wonderful day at his house. They took a neighborhood walk and played catch in the yard. I felt very secure knowing that Mimi was being well taken care of. I will definitely use his services again when I am in the area visiting.
Ryder and family were so wonderful! Our pup was in such great hands, we never worried once while we were away. Such kind people with a welcoming pup for our Poppy to play with. We’re so grateful!
Ryder was amazing. Our dogs are not used to other places or people. He took them for several walks and sent updates during the day. Kale and Oskar looked happy and relaxed when we picked them up. Definitely we will keep contracting hisservices.
Ryder took care of our dogs for 10 days while we were out of town. I was somewhat anxious about leaving them with someone else for an extended period. However, Ryder was very attentive with the dogs and communicated consistently about how they were doing. I'd be happy to have him look after them again.

Beano did well on his first visit and Ryder was very patient and gentle with him. He seemed happy when we picked him up which is unusual when we leave him. I feel that Ryder is an excellent care provider for small dogs and we have already scheduled for two more outings where he will need care. He even let Beano sleep with him and his dog for comfort when he was nervous at night. It is definitely a relief to find someone we feel shows love to our dog when we can’t take him somewhere with us. I do recommend Ryder and will leave further reviews throughout our visits. ?

I am a musician currently working from home. So I spend most of my days at home which is why I am able to care for dogs during my work from home :)

I am happy to discuss the details of your booking prior to the booking confirmation. currently I am in Tujunga, California living with my partner Rhiannon, she is very good with animals and has had dogs her whole life. She will be around to help with caretaking for the next few months. We live with our small dog Roehn who you can see in the pictures. She is our adored companion! California Clients: My residence is on Hillrose St. and I am fully prepared to start taking clients here. For outside dogs the dogs need to be larger dogs. The reason for "outisde larger dogs only" is because I am right up against the foothills and frequently get coyote visitors strolling down the street, so it would be most safe if your dog is big enough to not be a target for coyotes. Our neighbor who lives behind us has a average size german shepherd who lives completely outside in their fenced in yard and the coyotes steer clear of him. But for my small dog Roehn, I never let her outside without keeping an extremely, EXTREMELY close eye on her as she is small and too susceptible to coyotes and other predators. Rest assured, I am so so so careful with any dog that is entrusted to me. We do not let any small dogs outside unattended, never! All that being said, my yard is completely fenced in so no worries there. New Mexico Clients: I am no longer living in New Mexico! So sad because I had so many wonderful clients there and I miss them all dearly. I will of course update my profile if I ever go back but as of right now I have no plans to return. Pets
A typical day
At least two 30 minute - one hour walks a day around the neighborhood, once in the morning and once in the early evening before it gets dark. Also with dogs who like playing fetch or with toys I will play with them a for a few sessions daily.
