I am currently home from college and completing a self-paced CCMA course, which allows me a very flexible daily schedule! I typically start my day around 8:00 AM, making me available for early morning feedings and play sessions. Because my studies are online and flexible, I can easily drop by throughout the day or evening to ensure your pet has consistent company and care. Whether you need a standard routine or specific visit times, I can easily integrate your pet’s needs into my daily workflow.

Please let me know if your pet has any specific triggers, such as reactivity to other dogs, bikes, or loud noises, so I can plan our walking routes safely. I also find it helpful to know their favorite 'high-value' treats for rewarding good behavior, any medication schedules, and if they have any 'off-limit' furniture or areas in your home. I am open to all breeds and sizes, as long as I'm aware of their unique energy levels and handling requirements!
A typical day
I tailor my day to your pet's specific energy levels. For active dogs, we’ll hit the local trails and practice basic enrichment games. For calmer or older pets, we’ll focus on gentle strolls and plenty of companionship. I make sure to stick closely to their usual feeding and potty schedule so they feel secure and relaxed while you're away.

Hi! I’m Ryanne, a neuroscience & pre-med student at American University, currently home for the summer with a fully flexible schedule, meaning your pets get my undivided time and attention! I’ve been pet sitting since high school, so I bring years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and even koi fish for neighbors and family friends. I currently have two small dogs of my own (a cocker spaniel and a shih tzu mix), so I truly understand how much your fur babies mean to you. I’m known for my calm, nurturing energy, which helps anxious or shy pets feel safe and comfortable quickly. As a future healthcare professional working toward my CCMA license, I approach every pet’s care with the same attention to detail and compassion I bring to my studies. Whether it’s a drop-in visit, dog walk, or house sit, I treat every pet like my own!
