I took a break from offering services on Rover the last year (2024) as I backpacked the world for 7 months, volunteering my time at various animal rescues and shelters where my passion for helping animals sky rocketed. I am now back in Ottawa and beyond eager to fill my day with animals again. I work from home and am very flexible and spontaneous so please reach out if you need anything!

I keep my attention on any pet I’m watching and wouldn’t let them get away without my supervision. I treat them with full love and only want their safety. I live in a nice neighbourhood with lots of great walking trails and parks. I’m always trying to be outside and explore the city, having a furry friend with me would only be a total bonus I’d be honoured to have!

Please let me know any special care needed for your lovely furry babies and I will make sure to prepare myself. I have given medicine, treated wounds and have cared for special needs to dogs and very elderly animals. If you could let me know where your dog likes to be pet, what makes them aggressive or anxious and if they bark often. I want the absolute best for your animal and the more info I know the better time we can have together. :)
A typical day
I love bringing the pupps to the dog park, going on long walks and if they are properly trained I enjoy running along side a dog. There are parks and trails all around my house in Stittsville which is a great to play fetch and explore!

Pet care experience
I’ve had a dog my entire life and am the go to pet sitter for my friends and family members! I have the biggest soft spot for dogs and cats and will treat any animal like it’s my own. I do a lot of volunteer work in Central and South America working at Shelters and helping rescue and care for sick and endangered animals. We walk, feed, wash and give love to these animals and find them loving homes.

Ryann was amazing with the dogs even though they are two new rescues and still working on some things. I got lots of lovely messages and pictures, and I felt secure that our little guys were in good hands. She was also flexible and accommodating when our flight had to be changed last minute. I'll definitely be booking with Ryann again in the future. She's a lovely person who's flexible and great with animals :)
Ryann has a love of animals and has a very confident and gentle way with them. She is an amazing person and very caring. She loves the outdoors and walking so any dog would be lucky to have her for walks. Ryann has great communications skills and attention to detail, owners can rest easy knowing she is taking care of their fur babies.
Ryann always takes care of my dog winter. She gives her all the attention and love. Ryann is reliable and hard working and cares for every dog.
Ryann is amazing with all animals! She really helps me out when I work long shifts. She will always send me pup-dates of my baby. I am so thankful to have such a wonderful caretaker. Although I am heartbroken she’s moved to Montreal, I am happy to know other dogs will be able to feel her love.
