Hello! My name is Ryan and I grew up with many animals in the Poconos, but I've always had a passion for dogs. Now I'm in the Philadelphia area working full time as a barista during the week. I have experience with training therapy dogs, and I'm working towards becoming a dog trainer. My partner bartends at night, so our chihuahua puppy we adopted in the summer is rarely alone. Ryan was a great sitter! I used him for a full week to watch my dog and he regularly sent photos and check ins throughout the duration of the stay. He is super communicative and really friendly. Would use again!
We were suddenly without a sitter for Syrsa, and Ryan was able to jump in at short notice. Ryan was calm and relaxed with our big and slightly nervous dog, amazing with communication, and sent us updates and pictures. We are recommending Ryan to everyone and will obviously be back.

Schedule
I am available Monday - Friday after 3pm. I am usually unavailable on weekends for walks. Boarding drop off/pickup can be accommodated during those times with notice.

I have a one bedroom with my partner in Germantown which isn't far from from my favorite hiking spots. It's a very walkable neighborhood with great gardens to observe and explore.

A typical day
I wake up early, make an unnecessarily fancy coffee, and head out for a morning walk. I always consult what enrichment your dog prefers and meet them where they're at.

- I have no breed preferences or restrictions. I am always willing to learn more. Every dog deserves to be met where they're at, and I have the patience to sit with them all if I can accommodate. If your dog is not socialized or reactive I can board my small dog with a friend if a solo stay is more sensible. For this I ask for an additional $10 or negotiable with notice. Meet and greets are the best way for us to all know if we are a good fit.
