Availability

I plan my availability around my working schedule. This means that I will be home during the period of time I am available. I do have my own activities in the the day e.g. gym, which means I leave your dog at home for this time. This can be changed accordingly if needed.

Information ryan s. would like to know about your pet

It's important to me to know what your dogs personality is like. How well they listen and recall and how they feel around other dogs. If your dog is socialised with farm animals we may encounter in the Peak District e.g. sheep, cows, horses. Feeding schedule How fit your dog is to be mindful of walks and terrain. The age of your dog. Allergies - diet needs.

A typical day

My typical day is wake up and feed the dog. Go for a long walk or run (usually lasting minimum of 1 hour). Dog have a few hours sleep to rest, whilst I pop to the gym. Sit at home for an hour Dog goes on their second walk of the day (minimum of 1 hour). Return home, rest for an hour or two. Dog gets second meal of the day Dog relax in the home with me and chill. Bedtime.

Pet care experience

I’ve had dogs for many years and have successfully raised terriers, a German shepherd and currently a Labrador. I only have three dogs at home: I would like to help others in providing a cost friendly pet service, which doesn't cost more than conventional boarding... It seems many on here are offering their service at double, if not, more the cost of dog kennels which doesn't seem right. My home has a very large garden which is secure. Living in the High Peak also means your dog will get plenty of walks in the countryside - a holiday for your dog.

Ryan did a fantastic job looking after my large dog. Daily long hikes, daily updates, and my dog came home happy, worn out and smelling good! Very pleased.
