Park Hill Dog Buddy

I recently had to put my 16 year-old blue healer down. He loved to play frisbee and go to the dog park. I have a single-family home with no stairs and a fenced in backyard. Close to a Long Parkway and fairly close to a dog park in Central Park.( note I have hardwood floors throughout my house, which may be challenging for some dogs. And I don’t allow dogs on my furniture)

Ryan made leaving our dog for a few days very easy & simple! He even offered to drop by our house and pick up a few toys that I forgot to pack. He asked really great questions about our dog’s care and routine that let me know he really cares.

Ryan took great care of my old man Sam (13 year old labradoodle). Easy communication to set up boarding and arrange drop off and pickup. Thanks Ryan!

House Sitting • Jan 20, 2026

Ryan was an incredible sitter! Since this was our first time using someone new, we were a bit nervous, but Ryan’s daily messages, photos, and frequent updates completely put us at ease. He was extremely attentive to both our dog’s needs and our own, asking thoughtful questions to ensure he had everything right. We returned to a clean house, and Ryan even went above and beyond by shoveling our walkway after it snowed. Our dog Franklin seemed at ease with him too. We highly recommend him and will definitely be booking again! 🐾

Ryan has come through on multiple occasions for my wife and I when we needed someone to watch our dog, Cooper. He is always excited to watch him and takes excellent care of our home while we are away. I highly recommend his services to anyone in need of pet care

Ryan was the best and of my favorite sitters so far. Autumn was well taken care of and when I got her back, she didn't seemed stressed or mad at me for leaving her😂. Very happy with Ryan and kindness!

Ryan was a lifesaver on a last minute trip that came up for my wife and I. He came to the rescue, staying with our dog Cooper while we were away. He took great care of Coop, following our care instructions and took excellent care of our home. I highly recommend Ryan for your pet sitting needs, and will definitely be using him again in the future. Thank you Ryan!

Schedule

I work from home. I do have to leave fairly frequently for appointments that sometimes take to 3 to 4 hours. In the warmer months, I would typically leave my back door open for your dog to go outside as needed.

Safety, trust & environment

I typically give dogs, baby carrots as treats. Depending on the health of your dog typically would play fetch/frisbee in my fenced backyard. I have a large tree in the back known for its squirrels, which will give your pup. Plenty of policing work to do. ( ha ha ) respecting your existing dog training, but cuddles and scratches are very common from me.

A typical day

Activities of course depend on the Dog and it’s over overall health. Frozen Kongs with peanut butter. Fetch outside. Playing with squeaky toys. I typically don’t play tug unless it’s a special request. Dog walks along the parkway, but it’ll be important to know distance and frequency your dogs capable of.

It’s important for me to know any fears or triggers. My dog was afraid of plastic bags and balloons. Knowing how reactive your dog is to squirrels or cats. ( there is a neighborhood cat that occasionally walk down the alley.) I live in Park Hill, which has quite a few dog owners so it’ll be very valuable to know how your dog is on leash and how they are with other dogs. There is a dog park close by, but I will only take a dog there if they’ve gone to dog parks a lot.
