Information Ryan P. would like to know about your pet
I prefer to watch dogs 50lbs or under, but I'm open to watching mellow bigger dogs. (I live in an apartment, so I just can't accommodate high-energy big dogs!) Please ask, and we can set up a meet-n-greet! I also prefer to watch dogs 1 year or over, but I'm open to watching pups who are house-broken and/or crate-trained. Bring your puppy by for a meet-n-greet! I'm happy to do whatever I can to make your dog's stay away from home as fun and comfortable as I can! Please let me know if your dog has any particular quirks, preferences, routines, or phobias, as well as anything you'd like me to do regarding their care and behavior -- what they are and aren't allowed to eat, where they are and aren't allowed to go, etc. I can also administer most medicines, if needed -- just let me know the proper schedule and dosage :) If you've got a larger dog, I prefer a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure everyone gets along. Any age is fine as long as your dog is house-broken. And please, no aggressive dogs. Playful and silly is just fine, though, as is shy and quiet :)
A typical day
My apartment complex has 2 large, fenced in dog parks, so your pup & I can go play fetch, run with other dogs, or just sniff around in the grass. If your dog isn't the social type, we'll take walks on the great nature paths! And of course, we can play tug of war in the apartment, or just cuddle and get belly rubs on the sofa. If your dog has special play or exercise needs, I'm happy to accommodate!

Hi! I'm Ryan! My dog/roomie Fritz & I look forward to hosting your pup while you're away! About me: I'm a college professor who teaches partially online, so I work from home most of the time. I love pets, and I've owned dogs all my life. As an adult, I've owned everything from a 5 lb Yorkie to a 90 lb Pit Bull, and I've loved them all. Currently, my best buddy is Fritz, 9 yr. old, 17lb. Shih-Tzu/Terrier mix. He's a bit shy and keeps to himself, but he's well-behaved and likes just about everyone. We love to have visitors, and I promise that we'll take great care of your dogs while you're away. I live in a spacious 1-BR apartment in South Austin; my complex has lots of areas for dogs to walk and play, including 2 large fenced-in dog parks. While your dog is staying with me, we'll go out for walks and potty breaks every 2-4 hours, and if I leave, they'll never be unattended for longer than 2-4 hours. We'll have plenty of time to play and explore -- and snuggle too :) If you'd like pictures or videos of your pup while you're away, just let me know and I'll send you regular updates! If you're interested in boarding, daycare, or in-home pet-sitting, please contact me to discuss the details, and we'll set up a meet & greet. Fritz and I look forward to meeting you and your pups, and to giving them all the love they need while you're away!
