Pet care experience
Woof, woof woof — I love dogs!
I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. My best friend Murphy, and before that Cricket and Benji. I love dogs and cats, and I am quick to form bonds with them. Whether that be with friends/family, or my years taking care of the neighborhood pets while their families were out of town. I have plenty of experience with animals of all age groups and sizes. I have a special fondness for older doggies, and understand that they may require some extra care and love.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I’m very patient with dogs, and I understand that unfamiliar faces can be scary for them—especially when their parents are away. I give lots of love, and I am experienced with positive reinforcement training. I never get mad or upset, and I’ve learned that my emotions often influence theirs. Your pets are your heart, I completely understand that. I’ll treat them like the precious parts of your lives that they are.
Ratings and reviews
Gizmo is not an easy dog and Ryan is dependable and flexible with him always. We’re so grateful!

Ryan is the best! He is super responsible, and always seems to be in a good mood. He is very good with our pets, they love to seem him come over as they know they’ll get some extra pats & special attention. I’d hire him anytime, and you should too!
Ryan is the best! He made sure my cat, Tom had company and was well cared for! I especially enjoyed his excellent communication! I will definitely be reaching out to Ryan again very soon!
You would be lucky to get Ryan for your pet! First of all, he is an awesome person. He is kind, smart, funny, and thoughtful of others. Ryan has always been a dog lover. He loves them so much and they love him. He has taken such good care of our sweet dog over the years. He is dependable, conscientious, kind and loving.
Ryan is a dog lover. He lived with us during our dog’s last years. Ryan tenderly took care of him, handled the vet appointments and comforted him. He showed his concern and dependability time and again. I trust him implicitly. You can, too.
Ryan is phenomenal! He has taken care of my dog several times, as well as my family’s dogs. He is excellent at communicating. I never worry about my pets when they’re with Ryan. He cares for them as if they’re his own.

Schedule
My only schedule constraints are my full-time undergrad classes, but my classes are spaced out throughout the day. If we talk through a schedule beforehand I can almost always make it work.
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsover 101 lbsRyan can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- Let me know if your dog is heavy and a jumper. It’s something I can handle, but being surprised by a big dog is difficult. Same thing with biting.
