I've been a veterinary technician for 8 years so your pet will always be around someone who has a medical background. I've worked with everything from Horses to birds to livestock to dogs and cats and reptiles. I'm also certified Fear Free which means I know how to handle pets who are scared or anxious. You can never have a bad day when you're around animals. I'm very active and if your pet likes going for hikes or running around the park that sounds like a fun time for me too! I have a large car so taking them for a hike or a swim is never a problem. My background sets me apart from the rest. I can't wait to provide great care to your pets! I always have a slip lead with me. Meaning your pet will always be walked with two leashes for safety while out and about. My training that I’ve learned from being a veterinary technician also means that your pet has the best eyes on them at all times when I’m around.

I always make note of the nearest animal emergency hospital, check in routinely with you, take photos and make sure you know your baby is in good hands. Given my medical background I am always on alert for any changes in behavior or physical ailments and know when something is serious or minor.

Short answer: Ryan is the BEST petsitter/house sitter, definitely book them!! 5 out of 5 stars!! Long answer: Ryan was so kind and communicative from the start--we set up a meet and greet so they could meet our two kitties. Our cats have some quirks and also need a lot of quality human attention or else they become very strained/agitated. When we got back from our two-week trip, it was clear that Ryan loved/tended to our cats the way they needed to be. Our cats were happy, calm (as possible), and even well-brushed (we have a long-haired cat who becomes VERY easily matted)! Ryan frequently sent updates of our cats well-being, and cute pictures as well! Through Ryan's updates, it was clear that they were really understanding and "tuned-in" to our cats personalities/needs. Once we were already on our trip, we realized that we forgot to do a few important tasks before we left, but Ryan came to the rescue and was happy to help out! The house itself was in perfect condition, Ryan even washed the towels and bedsheets. I honestly couldn't write a better review, I am so grateful for Ryan--their presence gave us peace of mind even though we were an ocean away from our kitties. I would DEFINITELY recommend Ryan to a friend/book them again.
I highly recommend Ryan for any pet care related services. I am usually super nervous about leaving my anxious pittie rescue under the care of a dog walker, but I knew she was in good hands with Ryan. I was able to breathe easy and enjoy myself. Thank you so much, Ryan!!

Haylie is someone I have known for two years and has shown me through their vet teching experience that they handle dogs with the utmost respect. They have five years + of vet tech experience including handling emergency situations, making them ideal to handle anything that should arise with other peoples' pets. As a dog caregiver, there isn't a better person I know than Haylie.

Schedule
Right now my schedule is wide open as I just relocated back to Williamsburg! So I’m available pretty much any time and can do easy drop in visits or last minute needs.
