Awesome awesome thank you for living my dog

Ryan is a great dog walker for all sizes, personalities and ages. Our young puppy adores him! Ryan tires him out and reinforces our training.

Excellent dog walker. Always on time, and my dog loves him. Very professional

Ryan provides the absolute best care for my dog-he treats her like she is his own. She can be picky-and she loves him! He is also very reliable- I never have to worry about whether he will show up, which is a huge weight off my shoulders.
Ryan’s loving energy with pets is clear from the moment you meet him! He has always been a loving and super active caretaker for his own dogs and puts the same care into taking care of others. If you are looking for a super fit, reliable person, Ryan is your guy!
Ryan is amazing with our two Weimaraners. They have tons of energy, and he’s able to handle them and actually tire them out. After a day with him, they come home happy and totally wiped. He’s a trail runner, so he takes them on long adventures to beaches, parks, Montecito trails. Places we don’t have time to get to during the week. You can tell he really enjoys working with dogs like ours that need more than just a walk around the block. If you have a high-energy breed and need someone who can keep up, Ryan’s your guy. Can’t recommend him enough.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle. As a Montecito-based business owner and endurance athlete, I spend much of my time on the trails and beaches — often with a dog by my side. My lifelong love of animals, combined with my endurance background, makes me especially well-suited for larger or high-energy breeds. I genuinely love bonding with dogs and take pride in being a calm, confident presence — a natural pack leader they can trust.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I care for the dogs I walk as if they were my own — with plenty of love, attention, and respect for their individual needs. I’m known for giving dogs the exercise they truly crave, whether that’s an energizing trail walk, a beach romp, or a steady neighborhood outing. I stay fully present and engaged, making sure each walk is safe, stimulating, and tailored to the dog’s energy level and personality.

A typical day
I love making every visit fun and engaging! We play games to keep their minds sharp and their tails wagging, whether it’s fetch, hide-and-seek, or basic training exercises. I also enjoy taking dogs to the beach for some fresh air and playtime, or exploring local trails together for great exercise and new scents to discover. I believe in stimulating both their minds and bodies, making sure they’re not just physically tired but mentally fulfilled too.

- Before caring for any dog, I like to know about their personality, energy level, and any specific routines or quirks they have. It’s important to understand if they have any fears (like other dogs, loud noises, or strangers), health conditions, dietary needs, or behavioral tendencies. I also like to know what commands they know, what motivates them (treats, toys, praise), and if there’s anything special I can do to help them feel comfortable and safe while you’re away.
