Three-floor home with separable spaces as needed. Doggy door to a fenced backyard can stay open or closed, and motion cameras feed to our computers so yard time is always monitored. Cats have a third-floor-only cat door for their own escape zone if guest dogs get too curious. ... New guests stay with Ryan downstairs with space to settle in. Our husky and two older cats will be upstairs when we can't supervise initial interactions and play (if welcome by you and your pet). If everyone gets along great, which is usually the case, we let everyone move about the house freely.

Information Ryan & Lorien L. would like to know about your pet
We start with a no-cost meet and greet to learn your pet’s routine, bathroom habits, walking style, triggers, rewards, and meds. We document it ourselves, no need for you to write anything out. And most important, to see that we're a good fit. We keep it calm—no barging in like Kramer on Seinfeld.
A typical day
For dogs, the day is structured. We use a scheduling app for arrival/drop-off, walk, rest in proximity to us, meal times, supervised play time with our dog or one of us in backyard. ... Dogs get at least one 30 min walk a day unless you ask otherwise - and that can be with or without our dog. ... We feed dogs separately, manage food and toys carefully to prevent friction, and keep the whole setup calm, predictable, and drama-free. ... We have a doggy door to our fenced in back yard which can be closed or open, depending on whether you'd like your dog to have a particular bathroom schedule. As mentioned, we have motion cams covering entire back yard that display on our computers while we work. So no risk that your pup is getting into trouble in the yard.

Pet care experience
1) No-cost meet and greet before booking. You can interview us in person, tour our home and yard, poke around, and decide if we’re a fit before committing. ... 2) Ryan is certified in Red Cross Canine and Feline First Aid/CPR, and Fear Free Canine and Feline Daycare, Boarding, and Administering Medication. ... 3) Two adults working from home and no kids = no schedule flakiness or overbooking. ... 4) One guest pet at a time so yours will have priority, for attention or in case of emergency. (Exceptions only for repeat clients whose pet is 100% comfortable with our pets) ... 5) IT enterprise software project managers by trade, so clients get scheduling discipline: routines, care tasks, clear communication, and lots of detailed status/photo updates. ... 6) Three-floor home layout means pet guests can be comfortably separated from our dogs and cats when they need their own quiet time, decompression, or solo space. ... About Us: We each grew up in dog and cat households. Today we’re proud pet parents of our lady husky Fen, and our cats - brother and sister - Loki and Freya. We’ve cared for our own pets from youngster to senior phases, some who needed meds, injections, extra patience, and lots of vet support.

Excellent sitters and funnest updates!

Great booking with Ryan and his wife. Got great updates and pictures. They have the perfect set up for dog sitting with a great yard, plenty of gates for separation, if needed, and gentle, but playful hosts.

Amazing sitters! Sent updates and photos to make us feel comfortable on our dog’s first visit. So attentive! So excited to find them.
