Safety, trust & environment

When it comes to caring for pets in my clients' homes, my main priority is to ensure that their furry friend feels safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. I understand that each pet has unique needs, which is why I work closely with my clients to understand their pet's routines, habits, and preferences. I make sure to follow the instructions provided by the pet's owner and provide regular updates on how the pet is doing. In terms of dog sitting, I am able to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the dog in the familiar setting of their own home. I make sure to provide plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention to keep the dog happy and comfortable. I am able to administer medication if required and can provide food and water as per the instructions provided. For cat sitting, I will make sure to keep their routine as normal as possible, such as feeding, grooming, and playtime. I will also clean the litter box and make sure the cat has plenty of water and food (just leave special instructions for disposal and feeding) I am also available for overnight pet sitting, which allows the pet to sleep in their own bed and stick to their regular routine. I understand that leaving your pet in someone else's care can be stressful, which is why I make sure to provide updates and pictures during the pet's stay with me. Overall, my goal is to provide the highest level of care for your pet and make sure they feel loved and comfortable while you're away.

Information Ryan K. would like to know about your pet

Some of the key information that I like to know includes: Medical information: I like to know if the dog has any medical conditions or is currently taking any medications. This information is essential for ensuring that the dog receives the appropriate care and attention. Diet and feeding schedule: I like to know what the dog's diet consists of and how often they are fed. This will help me to ensure that the dog is fed on schedule and that they receive the proper nutrition. Exercise routine: I like to know how often the dog is exercised and what kind of exercise they are used to. This will help me to ensure that the dog receives the appropriate amount of exercise and to plan activities accordingly. Training and behavior: I like to know if the dog is trained, what commands they know and if they have any specific behavioral issues that I should be aware of. This will help me to understand the dog's needs and to manage their behavior accordingly. Emergency contact information: I like to have the owner's contact information, as well as that of a veterinarian or other emergency contact in case of any issues. Other specific needs: I like to know if the dog has any specific needs, such as being left alone for a certain amount of time, or if they have a certain toy or blanket that they are particularly fond of. By having this information ahead of time, I can better prepare and provide the best care for the dog while they are in my care.

A typical day

As a dog sitter, I believe that providing a variety of activities for the dogs in my care is essential for their overall well-being. I like to take the dogs on walks to local parks and nature trails to give them the opportunity to explore and experience new sights and smells. I always make sure to provide plenty of water and rest breaks during walks and activities, and to monitor the dogs for any signs of fatigue or discomfort. The safety and well-being of the dogs in my care is my top priority, and I strive to provide a fun and stimulating experience for them while they are in my care.

Pet care experience

I have been passionate about dogs since I was 10 years old. Throughout the years, I have gained a wealth of experience in dog sitting, walking, and general care. My love for dogs and my experience has allowed me to provide a safe and comfortable environment for dogs while their owners are away. I understand that leaving your furry friend in someone else's care can be stressful, which is why I work closely with the owners to ensure that their dog's specific needs and routines are met

Ryan is such a great guy & pet sitter! Frequent updates, pictures, and texts. He was a lifesaver & allowed me to get away with peace of mind. Came early for an orientation. Very gentle with the babies! Ill use him again!

Ryan took great care of my dogs:) He was kind & patient with my timid dog who wasn’t eating well while I was gone. He kept me updated with texts & pictures. The house & yard were tidy upon my return.

Ryan is great. He spent 8 hours at my house with my dog and my dog loved him. Ryan sent me updates and pictures throughout the day. It was the first time I left my dog with a sitter so I was happy to see just how well he was taking care of my dog. I definitely recommend Ryan and would use him again.
