Availability
I largely set my own work schedule, work remotely from home, and live a pretty quiet life gardening and wood working so I’ll be around the house most of the time. I’m typically available weekdays and weekends, and update my in all calendar regularly if I have any periods where I’m not available.

I work from home, and we are well equipped to help you take care of your pupper however you need help. I’ve got a fenced in back yard, a smoke free, child free, pet friendly and ready home, and we’re right next to nature trails and a large park. Outside of the usual walks, food, and scritches I spend about two hours a day with my dog (his name is Ube) doing training and enrichment, and can easily incorporate your pup into as much or as little engagement and enrichment with me and with Ube as they need. I know better than most that leaving your dog with someone else is stressful for everyone, so I want to work with you to make sure I do everything possible to minimize that stress for you, and for your pup. Firm crate and place utilization, on or off furniture, open play with other dogs, limited or no exposure, we can adjust things to make sure that your dog feels safe and comfortable. Ube is great with all kinds of dogs he can run with the big boys (he did training with a cane corso and his bestie before we moved was a Great Pyrenees) but can be gentle enough that even my mom’s seven year old yorkie plays with him. But I know some dogs don’t do well with others, and so we can also minimize contact and keep your pup segregated if that’s what is best for them.

Pet care experience
Like most folks on here I have been an animal lover and pet owner for pretty much my whole life. I’ve worked as a dog sitter and walker off and on for over a decade. So what sets me apart? Well I have been working with and training dogs for about four years now, including training my own ADA Service Animal. I know that these days our dogs are often more than just our pets, they’re members of the family, companions, and sometimes can even be there to help save your life or keep you independent. I practice positive reinforcement training, and use a clicker with my own dog to shape behavior. I love all kinds of dogs, from derpy little pugs to horse size Danes, and having worked with everything from Yorkers to English mastiffs, I understand that different dogs need different approaches. Part of having your pup stay with me is having an honest conversation about what their needs are, and how I can make sure they’re met while under my care. The goal is to make this as worry free for you, and minimize stress and change for your doggo. I look forward to working with you!
Reviews

Ryan was very thorough during our initial meeting to make sure he understood Sierra’s needs and could provide her the best care. She came home tired and in great spirits!

Ryan was super accommodating to my frequently changing plans, took such great care of Kobe and even sent Kobe home with a toy Kobe didn’t want to parts ways with.
