I work from home full-time Monday to Thursday inclusive. I take my dog Bella on a walk every morning and can also fit in another walk in the afternoon if your dog needs one. I have a large garden and can play your dog in the garden throughout the day. I'm happy to discuss any particular requirements you have.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large, secure, fenced garden that’s always accessible to your dog, giving them plenty of safe space to explore and play. Inside, there’s a variety of comfy dog beds and a huge selection of toys to keep them entertained and relaxed. My own dog, Indi, was a small Jackawawa, so I added dog steps to help her get up onto the bed and sofa safely. Those are still in place, so if your dog has little legs or needs a bit of help, they’ll still be able to enjoy their independence around my house. I make sure pets in my care feel safe, loved, and at home - whether they’re curling up on the sofa or zooming around the garden!

Information Ryan H. would like to know about your pet
It’s helpful to know if your dog can be walked on or off lead, and how they usually behave around other dogs. I want to make sure every walk and play session is safe and enjoyable for them. Please also let me know about any specific routines, medical needs, or quirks-like fears, allergies, or things they don’t like. I have a big selection of toys here, but feel free to bring along your dog’s favourite toy, blanket, or anything else that helps them feel more at home.
A typical day
Before work, I like to visit Hatherop Park, which is just behind my house, for a morning walk and some social time with other dogs. During my work day, I have plenty of breaks to give your dog attention-whether that’s a quick play session, a treat puzzle, or a cuddle on the sofa. When they’re ready to relax, there are comfy beds and a cosy spot on the sofa where they can curl up and feel right at home. In the afternoon, we’ll head out for another walk or some more garden play, depending on what your dog enjoys. I make sure they get just the right balance of activity and rest, tailored to their personality and energy level.

Pet care experience
Hello, I'm Ryan! 👋 I've been a devoted dog dad for over 8 years to my two adopted pups, Bella and Indi. Sadly, Indi passed away last year after a brave fight with cancer, but the love and care I gave (and still give to Bella) has only deepened my passion for looking after animals. I know first-hand how much our pets mean to us - they’re not just animals, they’re family. I’ve gained experience with everything from giving medications to building trust with shy or anxious pups. Having used Rover for many years to book dog sitters for Indi and Bella, I also know how important it is to know that your loved ones are safe and happy while at doggy day care. I work from home full-time as a software engineer, which means your pet will never be left alone or ignored. I have a spacious, secure garden full of toys for playtime, and with Hatherop Park just a few steps away, your dog will enjoy plenty of fresh air. Whether your pet loves quiet cuddles, interactive games, or outdoor adventures, I’m happy to tailor their care to make them feel right at home.
Reviews
I left my dog Bella with Ryan for the weekend and couldn’t be happier with the care she received. Ryan was friendly and clearly experienced with dogs. He kept me updated with messages and photos, which really put my mind at ease. Bella came home happy and clearly very well looked after. I’ll definitely book with him again!
