I am a 39 year old man with a remote job so I'm home all day. I have always had a dog in my house since I was a small child. I have trained my own puppies and also taken care of friends' and families' pets for years. I have .8 acres of a fenced-in yard and a neutered 1 year old Australian shepherd to play with your dog. Ryan was so nice & accommodating! He sent pictures and communication was awesome throughout brownie’s stay. She adjusted so quickly and was super happy leaving. They made her feel loved and attended to her when a little anxious at first. This was our first time using rover and very happy with the results. I already booked next weekend with him again last minute due to a change in plans and he was available & willing to take her.
Nova loved Ryan and his family. They treated her as if she was their own. I can’t thank them enough. I will use them every time.
He did so well with my pup, even though my pup had a tad bit of anxiety, being laughed with someone he never knew. He handled this every situation perfectly took very good care of my dog I would book again
Ryan and his family are lovely people and took excellent care of my dog. They have a young Aussie who was also sweet and my dog came back to me very relaxed and happy (and very tired after all the fun!). Ryan offered to bathe my dog after he got dirty on a hike, which was very thoughtful. He sent frequent photos and kept me in the loop with everything, which put me at ease after having a poor experience with a previous Rover dog sitter. I couldn’t recommend this family enough! Thank you Ryan and family!
Ryan has watched my dogs multiple times and he's been great every time- it's a relief to know my dog is well cared for and given lots of love and attention. It’s clear he truly loves animals. Highly professional and very trustworthy!
Oscar is a shih tzu and doesn't like many people. He loves Ryan and is always excited to see him. I highly recommend using Ryan if your dog needs love and care. Ryan will do his very best to ensure your pet is well taken care of. I am very thankful to have someone Oscar is so comfortable with.

Schedule
I work from home so can take dogs out as often as necessary. For adult dogs, I usually let them out into my yard at least 5 times a day, or more if they need to go out or if it is a puppy or older dog. If the dog is in good health, we will go on at least one long walk in the neighborhood in the afternoon as well per day as well as playing with my dog in my yard.

Safety, trust & environment
I have .8 acres of a fenced-in yard and a quiet neighborhood. We have a magnetic screen door so, once we make sure the dogs know how to open it, we let the dogs come in and out all day (weather permitting). My puppy would love to play with your dog all day in our yard and go for daily walks in our neighborhood. I'm happy to send daily photos/updates as you prefer.
Pets
A typical day
In addition to the daily play that your dog will probably do with ours in our yard, we generally try to bring your dog along as one of the family for any activities we're doing as long as you agree that it's a good fit. We've taken clients' dog to our son's soccer games, taken some on hikes, and also taken some to Lake Lanier. We will never let your dog off leash outside of our own fenced in yard unless you know what activity we're doing and you specifically tell us that it'll be ok to do so.
