Availability
Open for 4th of July weekend but booking fast. I'm self-employed and own my home, work remotely and with a very flexible work schedule. I've lived in Austin for over 15 years and know the area well. I'm physically active and make sure all dogs get regular attention, walks, taken out many times a day to go to the bathroom and relax outside. I'm also patient and have experience with senior dogs. Since I work from home I can let dogs out many times a day (4-5) to go to the bathroom and easily walk all dogs twice a day usually over a mile if they are able to walk. I'm focusing a lot on physical health right now and exercise and that goes hand and hand with dog walking. I love playing fetch too with dogs that like to play fetch. Dogs go outside at least once every two hours. I have to run errands approximately 1-2 hours a day to run errands. Your dog will either need to be able to behave without me home or they'll need to be crated. You know best what needs to happen with your animal so please be honest and transparent about it.

Safety, trust & environment
My large backyard is fully fenced. I rarely leave pets alone when I host them minus running 1-2 chores a day for about 1-2 hours. Safety is very important, happy to crate your dog if needed. My house is very clean and I feed dogs in the morning and evening.

Information Ryan D. would like to know about your pet
My preference for breeds are dogs under 100 lbs. I also highly prefer dogs 3 years or older. I do not want to take care of highly energetic 1-2 year old dogs that will mess up my house, interrupt my sleep and other dogs sleep, physically harm me, my property, or other dogs. Your dog should be able to get along with other dogs, I usually host at least 1-2 dogs total but I normally watch 3-4 dogs all major holiday weekends. I've watched over 80 dogs and almost all of them (like over 95%) of them have been great.
A typical day
Walks at least 2 times a day for dogs that can walk safely and the total distance is usually over 1 mile. Dogs enjoy treats, outside lounging and I'll play fetch with dogs that want to play fetch in the large backyard. We'll take multiple potty breaks within every 2 hours and eat breakfast early around 7-8am and dinner around 430-530pm. I usually have to run an errand or two and your dog(s) should only be alone in the house for about 2 hours a day max.

Safe, large backyard and long walks
Pet care experience
Available and currently taking reservations for Memorial Day and 4th of July weekend, which will be busy. My house is fully fenced and close to multiple parks, but I prefer taking dogs to Pease Park and Onion Creek. I encourage and I'm very willing to accept stays more than one week for the right fit. My neighborhood is safe to walk dogs in and my backyard is a good size and dogs love running around back there and playing fetch or sunbathing. I work from home and can take dogs out and walk them multiple times a day (including the summer) and have a nice property that is fully fenced in backyard in a safe neighborhood. Worked with many different breeds, energy levels, ages and sizes and I can easily walk 2 dogs at time under 80 lbs. each. I am very active and love going for walks. If your dog likes to walk I'll easily take them on 2 walks a day totaling at least 1 mile if not more. If your dog is older or it isn't safe for them to walk that's fine too. Your dog will be taken extremely well taken care of and safe with me. You dog(s) will need to be able to be around other dogs because I can sometimes have 1-3 other dogs at my house other than your dog. I never host more than 4 and it's rare for me to have more than 2 or 3. It's usually only 1-2 at a time minus the major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, 4th of July, Labor Day, etc...)
Reviews
Ryan D. cancelled a booking 2 days before it was scheduled to begin.

Ryan was very communicative and tug had the best time!

Coco gets to trail walk everyday. I think she warm up to Ryan pretty fast as they were already playing fetch everyday. She has some rash on her butt but recover in no time. Will definitely engage Ryan again to look after when needed

Ryan was great at taking care of my boys and gave me regular updates which was greatly appreciated!
