Hello, Rover community! 😎 From the age of 8, dogs have been constant companions in my life, and caring for them has become a hobby of mine. 🐶 Whether it's tending to my own Maltese Shih Tzu mix or gaining hands-on work experience at an animal hospital and a doggie daycare during summer and winter breaks🏥. I even handle grooming for my own pup! I am an active volunteer and foster parent at Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter and they've given me valuable training experience. Besides dogs, I've also cared for a variety of animals like guinea pigs, chickens, turtles, and fish. 🫂

We had such a great experience using Ruyi. She was kind, pleasant, and always stayed in contact with us. She sent me multiple pictures and updates throughout my dog’s stay and even had a video call with be before hand to show me exactly where my dogs would be. I will definitely be bringing my dogs back to stay with her!

Ruyi was SUCH a great doggie daycaregiver for my tiny little Gía. Received photos and status updates during the day, and she was very flexible with dropoff and pickup times with my varying work and travel schedule. Nice outside area for Gía to get fresh air as well. Thank you, Ruyi! I look forward to having you care for Gía the next time I am in the area.
Maggie was great with my puppy. Very communicative and flexible with timing. She also did a meet and greet which was much appreciated. My dog had a good time with her!
Milo loved his time with Maggie .. we met her for meet and greet ( suggested by her ) could feel her vibe and love for pets .. she took really great care of Milo .shared pics and videos .. our flight got delayed and she accommodated Milo without any hesitation.. we will be leaving Milo in her care for our future vacations .

I'm a full-time college student, but I'm home most of the time and drive to campus only when I have class. I will not accept any stay if I can't be with your pup for the whole length of it. During breaks, I'll be at home and accepting reservations for any day.📲Communication is key, so I'm more than happy to provide videos or photos of your pet upon request. Whether you prefer regular updates like me or would rather relax and receive updates near the end of your dog's stay, I'll adjust updates accordingly. Just let me know your preferences to ensure a peace of mind while you're away from your furry friend. 📷

Working in an animal hospital with patients' strict medication and diet has trained me to follow instructions quickly and accurately. I take pet care seriously, especially cleanliness and safety. I uphold these practices in my own space, using disinfectants that are pet friendly to ensure every dog's well being. While your pup is with me, the pup will stay in my room or the living room so I can keep track of things I should clean at the end of the day. 🐾 I love my dog very much and she spends a lot of time with me, so I want to make sure she doesn't get sick as well. Doing this will also ensure future dog's health and my own. 🧼
A typical day
I avoid dog parks, but there are 2 parks nearby for us to go to. My neighborhood is peaceful and away from busy roads, so even the most reactive dogs will feel safe. If your dog is on the energetic side, I have a 30 foot leash and an empty yard to tire them out. Additionally, my dog also has over 30 toys to share, and I clean everything your dog touches at the end of the day. ☀️
