I have a fenced in backyard I have a front yard also where a lead can be put I have enough room for a kennel inside the house if need be. I have two cat towers for the kitties to get up and away from dogs if they need to.

A typical day
We will walk around the block and then play with frisbees or balls in the big back yard. If baths are needed they get those as well. And then nap time.
