A typical day
Anything from tossing a ball to tug-of-war with a rope! I'm an avid walker and hiker so I will walk your dog wherever it's safe for the both of us!

Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm and have had a bond with animals my whole life. I have rescued dogs and cats of all types and ages. I adopted a 15-year-old cat with kidney disease and gave her the best life in her golden years! I am also comfortable walking and caring for large dogs. People often tell me I am the dog and cat whisperer! I am also available for cat visits.

One of the first activities Ruthann and I did together when we first met was take our dogs for a romp in the woods. Ruthann has an affinity for all animals but this does not necessarily make one qualified to care for them. However, I have observed Ruthann over the years caring for other people’s pets, including my own. This is a task I would not give to just anyone! Ruthann pays special attention to each animal’s individual needs and behavior quirks, managing large and small, one at a time or several at once. I highly recommend her for sitting, walking, and anything in between!
Ruthann is the very person you want looking after your beloved pet. She has had many of her own fur babies throughout her life and she will provide exceptional care for your pet too. Animals respond to Ruthann's kind and loving nature. There have only been 3 people that have allowed my cat to pick her up and hug her..me, my Mom, and guess who? Ruthann! She is also reliable, responsible and trustworthy. Your pet is in wonderful hands with Ruthann!
