I understand animal behaviors and aspire to be a trainer eventually. While working in a boarding facility I noticed the dogs were not happy, uneasy and confused. Some wouldn't eat for days, some wouldn't go potty outside, and most would desperately look for their owners during our walks. And don't even get me started on how disarrayed the cats were. From that experience I knew I wanted to encourage pet owners if they must leave their pets, leave them at home, or in a homely environment, where they can be undividedly attended to, loved and cared for.

From the moment I dropped him off, I knew he was in loving, capable hands. Ruth went above and beyond to make sure Kaden was comfortable, happy, exercised, and well cared for. She provided updates, gave him plenty of attention, and treated him like family. When I picked Kaden up, he was relaxed, happy, and clearly had an amazing time. As dog parents, we all know how stressful it can be leaving our fur babies with someone else, but Ruth completely erased those worries. Her kindness, professionalism, reliability, and genuine love for animals shine through in everything she does. It’s rare to find someone you trust wholeheartedly with your pet, and Ruth is exactly that person. Kaden absolutely adored her, and I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book with her again. Ruth was amazing with my dog and made the whole experience really easy and stress free. You can tell she genuinely cares and treats the dogs like her own. I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog with her, and I’d absolutely book with her again anytime I need boarding.
Kept us updated with plenty of pics and messages about any concerns or events of their day to day. She also ensured they were comfortable in our absence.

Schedule
I am a stay-at-home mother/wife, writer, artist, and animal lover with ample flexibility throughout the week. I like to plan my days at least 24 hours in advance to ensure efficiency in all my duties.

Safety, trust & environment
Nature, nurture, and animals are part of my purpose for living I believe. Therefore, their wellbeing is what I care about. I am disciplined, forthcoming and honest, and enjoy interacting with others of similar character. Even though I play heavily with animals when they want to play with me, I also create an atmosphere of mutual respect and order, usually upon 1st introduction. This allows the pet to follow my lead and trust in me as a child would a parent.
Pets
A typical day
I adjust to the temperament of each fur baby. Some love playing with toys, ropes, balls etc., others are more full contact and I am great with both. I don't mind playful bites and scratches on my hands. Still, some baby's don't have any interest in playing at all, but like to explore the outdoors, or simply cuddle up on the couch. Good thing I do too!
