I understand animal behaviors and aspire to be a trainer eventually. While working in a boarding facility I noticed the dogs were not happy, uneasy and confused. Some wouldn't eat for days, some wouldn't go potty outside, and most would desperately look for their owners during our walks. And don't even get me started on how disarrayed the cats were. From that experience I knew I wanted to encourage pet owners if they must leave their pets, leave them at home, or in a homely environment, where they can be undividedly attended to, loved and cared for.

Ruth was amazing with Bella! Not only did I receive updates about what my pampered pup was doing I also got pictures. Bella was very comfortable at her home and decided to add herself to their lovely family. I will definitely use Ruth again!

Ruth is great!!! This is Niki’s second time being in Ruth’s home and is clearly treated like part of the family! I left Niki in Ruth’s care for a one and a half weeks and had no doubt she was being well taken care of! Received constant updates with photos that I totally appreciated during my travels out of the country.
I have used Ruth quite a few times. Not only is she amazing with Bailey she is also attentive. She lets you know throught out the time she is sitting Bailey by sending pictures and staying in communication with us. She deserve 5 stars and more. Thank you Ruth for a job well done.

Schedule
I am a stay-at-home mother/wife, writer, artist, and animal lover with ample flexibility throughout the week. I like to plan my days at least 24 hours in advance to ensure efficiency in all my duties.

Safety, trust & environment
Nature, nurture, and animals are part of my purpose for living I believe. Therefore, their wellbeing is what I care about. I am disciplined, forthcoming and honest, and enjoy interacting with others of similar character. Even though I play heavily with animals when they want to play with me, I also create an atmosphere of mutual respect and order, usually upon 1st introduction. This allows the pet to follow my lead and trust in me as a child would a parent.
Pets
A typical day
I adjust to the temperament of each fur baby. Some love playing with toys, ropes, balls etc., others are more full contact and I am great with both. I don't mind playful bites and scratches on my hands. Still, some baby's don't have any interest in playing at all, but like to explore the outdoors, or simply cuddle up on the couch. Good thing I do too!
