Looking for a temporary best friend
Me and my husband have looked after pets all our lives and have recently lost our family dog and are looking to fill the pet size hole in our hearts by showing some love to your pets. We have experience with looking after old and ageing dogs with a variety of needs, including medications. We live close to a forest so there are a lot of opportunities to take your pups on long walks, we also loved taking our dog to the beach! I work from home most of the time so I will be able to walk your pets in the day and before and after work. We have a fenced garden with grass and a pet friendly house. Lots of parks and forests near by, as well as a short drive to the beach.

Ruth and Dave have just looked after our 6 year old cocker poo Arlo for 6 nights. It was his first stay with them and he had a great time. He was very well looked after, went on lots of walks. It was like home from home. It has taken us a while to find a sister as Arlo doesn’t get on well with other dogs and most sitters either have a dog of their own or take 2 at a time so very pleased to have found Ruth and Dave
Tess had another stay with Ruth and we can relax knowing she’s well looked after. Plenty of updates and photos which are much appreciated
Tess has been well looked after by Ruth and her hubby again this week. We have peace of mind and look forward to the daily updates Ruth sends x
Eric loved his stay with Ruth. He was comfortable as soon as he met Ruth and her family, and was really well looked after. We will definitely use Ruth again in the future. Thank you for looking after Eric so well x

Home characteristics
A typical day
We live next to a forest therefore we would love to take the dog out on long walks and play in the fields near our house. We have a garden where dogs are free to roam and energy to play with dogs.
