I've had many dogs over 30 years, some rescued and from puppies to senior dogs. I regularly look after dogs from friends and family. Taking care of dog medication and special dietary requirements. I love walking and caring for all my furry companions.

Trial doggie daycare prior to an overnight went very well. Ruth demonstrates great care and clearly made Lulu at ease.

Ruth is a lovely person and I was happy to leave our beloved golden retriever Teddy in her care. She had already met him and we spent about an hour walking Teddy and her lovely dog together. Unfortunately my boy is very loath to be away from his home. He even gets anxious and fidgety when we go on holiday even though he is with us and we never leave him alone. Ruth had to call me after about an hour because he had become distressed. I was happy to collect him again and could understand why he couldn’t stay with Ruth. We live in a rural area and Teddy is accustomed to meeting other people.

Schedule
I'm currently retired and have all the time to take good care of your dogs. I have a dog friendly estate car if I have any errands to do, I always take the dog with me.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large secure garden and one friendly, passive Sprocker called Jasper who loves the company of other dogs. I'm happy for dogs to have the comfort of our home, sofas, beds and happy to crate if required. Jasper sleeps in his den at night.
Pets
A typical day
We walk, sniff, walk some more, sometimes we take the ball. We live by rivers and gorgeous walking paths, sometimes we swim or just paddle if that's your thing. We regularly meet other furry friends and explore with them for a while. We love daily adventures with special treats along the way.
