Growing up in the countryside surrounded by cats, dogs, chickens, goats, (and even a pony!) gave me a sensitivity for life and living-beings, specially animals. I understand body language, interaction cues, and boundaries. I'm the kind of person that will gently guide a cat down from a kitchen counter, carefully put them down instead of just letting them fall (I know right it should be a given), or scream inside when I see a doggy or cat outside because I want to pet them. Recently, one of my cats needed medical assistance, so I have experience with medicines and treatment of wounds that need special and frequent care. As a cat mum and auntie, I treat them with the upmost respect, and I make sure I tell them how much I love them (and give them a little kiss) because I have to do it for their own sake.
