Life-long lover of critters of all
I grew up on a hobby farm with almost any critter you could imagine. We used our space to foster and rehabilitate animals, mostly dogs, cats, and horses. Through working with local humane societies, animal trainers, and breeders I think I have a very good understanding of animal behaviors and how to manage them. Working with animals has been a soul salve in my life and I love guiding animals through all stages of learning. I have slots of time all throughout my week where I am available to walk and check in on pets. Sunday is a free day. Monday and Tuesday I am free after 12, Wednesday-Friday I am free 6am-12, 5pm throughout the evening. Unfortunately at this moment I do not have a space that would allow to to board pets, but I am able to care for pets in their own homes. I am very communicative and I will work with you on your pet's specific needs and requirements, as well as any enrichment activities you would like to try.

Moved back to Sioux Falls and needed a cat sitter two weeks later! Didn't think to look online until the last minute, but was relieved to find available sitters nearby on Rover. Ruth's pic with a black cat is what caught my eye (as I also have a black cat). She responded quickly and graciously was available! Very kind and calm demeanor that worked perfectly for my two sometimes cautious kitties. Coco warmed up to her instantly as seen in the sweet pics Ruth uploaded daily. I felt such relief being away knowing the kitties were being well taken care of! Definitely will look forward to having Ruth help out again in the future!
Ruth is a kind hearted person who loves all living creatures. I can personally attest that she takes great care of her own animals and has done a great job helping me with mine!
Ruth is very good with all animals including cats, dogs, bunnies, and horses. She has had an assortment of animals throughout her life and has always put there needs before hers. She can train dogs an assortment of tricks from sitting and staying to playing dead and rolling over.
Ruth loves her pet family and I would say she is a better pet parent then many people parents. She has always been extremely tentative to her cat Saba's health and wellbeing needs. Ruth has grown up her whole live with family dogs and cats. Currently Ruth does not have her own dog because she knows the financial and time responsibility a dog takes and she isn't the kind of person who would get a pet and not be 100% committed to its wellbeing. Ruth has watched are family does many times and we trust her completely.
Ruth is an awesome person and a great pet sitter! Ruth has pet sat for me a few times and every time she was great! She kept me well informed on the pets well being, and took great care of them!
