Pet Parents, Looking for a reliable, honest and trustworthy ANIMAL LOVER who'll care for your pets like they were their own? ….look no further! As a military spouse of 15+ years, I've been blessed to take my love of animals globally. I've been around pets my whole life, but have specifically worked with cats & dogs for a little over 10 years (including volunteering at animal shelters from Guam to Texas and now in Jupiter, helping out friends, family & neighbors with their animals, and also working as a full-time, professional pet sitter when we were stationed in Hawaii). I'm a natural caregiver with a huge heart and working with animals simply makes me happy! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, puppies, seniors, & special needs, including deaf dogs and those requiring oral meds. My own pets include a senior, deaf, pit-mix (who knows basic sign-language) and a feisty, 3 legged Chihuahua/ Corgi-mix, who’ve been treasured members of our family since 2013. As the owner of animals that require a little 'special attention', I truly understand the importance of finding the right person to care for your pets and would welcome the opportunity to work with your family. My goal is for your pets to be as excited to see me, as they are to see you upon your return! Can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends. I offer a flexible schedule that runs from early mornings to evening time, including weekends. I’m available for short-term, temporary or longer-term set schedules and I’ll do my best to accommodate any last minute needs. I appreciate that life’s often unpredictable! Outside of working as a professional pet caregiver, I'm a stay at home mom to two awesome daughters & CEO to our household! Our house is never happier than when it's filled with animals! With having a stay-at-home mom, who's constantly pet sitting or dog walking, my pre-teen & teenage daughters have lots of experience being around animals and know how to respect boundaries. When given the "all clear", they love nothing more than showering pet guests with extra love and kisses! As for my wonderful husband, he's a giant teddy bear, who lives in an all-female household with special needs dogs (I know, poor guy!). He recently retired from 25 years, active-duty military service so he’s often home during the day. Pet guests tend to gravitate towards him because he’s big on ‘power naps’ and welcomes them to join him on the sofa! Our family dogs are walked 3 times a day and we have a doggy door that allows them to access the fully fenced yard all day long. Pet guests are usually greeted with excitement and because my dogs are a little older, they usually resume their sleeping positions fairly quickly! NOTE: Only longer term clients will be considered for home sitting at my personal residence. I like to know a dog well and have built up a relationship with them and their family, before introducing them to my people & fur family.
