Availability
As a college student without a 9–5 job, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive and reliable care for your pets. Whether it’s midday check-ins, evening snuggles, or weekend stays, I can work around your needs. I’m currently raising money for next semester’s tuition, so every booking not only helps your pet stay happy and safe—it also helps support my education!

Safety, trust & environment
hen caring for pets in your home, I treat it with the same respect and care I would my own. I’m attentive to your pet’s needs, clean, tidy, and always follow your instructions closely. Information Ruth L. would like to know about your pet
Before watching your pet, I’d love to know about their daily routine, any medical needs or medications, favorite toys or activities, and how they typically behave around new people or animals. It’s also helpful to know if they have any quirks—like anxiety, food sensitivities, or leash reactivity—so I can provide the best care possible. The more you share, the better I can make your pet feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away!
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, happy, and engaged! For dogs, that might mean going on long walks, playing fetch, or exploring new smells around the neighborhood. For cats, I bring out the toys, offer plenty of playtime, and make sure they get the mental stimulation they need—plus lots of cozy cuddle time if they’re into that. Whether it’s tug-of-war, laser pointer chases, or just hanging out in a sunny spot, I tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level.

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for animals for years and love every minute of it! I’ve raised a German Shepherd puppy and have experience with countless dog breeds, cats, kittens, bunnies, chickens, turtles, and even baby goats. I’ve also house-sat for multiple families and understand the importance of keeping pets happy, healthy, and safe in their own environment. Whether it’s a quick walk or extended care, I treat every pet like family.

Reviews

This was my first time having a sitter stay in my house and take care of our two dogs. I was very, very nervous but Ruth is wonderful and so sweet. She was very respectful of our home and made sure to let our dogs out throughout day even though she was at school/working (she is quite the hard worker!). She was understanding of all their little quirks lol She was a great communicator and guest in our home. I would definitely book with her.
Ruth L. cancelled a booking within a day of the start date.
I came home to happy and well adjusted babies! Ruth is very sweet and did well with keeping our 4 dogs and 1 cat.

This was the third time Ruth has come to care for our dog and, as always, she did an amazing job. Always punctual and dependable, with pictures from each visit, we appreciate Ruth's help.
