Home away from home
I have grown up with dogs for most of my life and love them so much! I wanted my own dog for years but as we always lived in rented flats we couldn’t - as soon as we bought our house we got Maisie and I couldn’t be happier. Me and my husband have rearranged our work schedules for Maisie so we are at home most days, so we felt we could offer a home away from home for other dogs as well as give Maisie a friend to play with! Maisie is an eight year old cavachon - she is very friendly and well socialised. We take her for longer walks during our lunch and little evening potters with our children. Your doggo would come along of course! We have no rules around dogs on sofas/beds etc. but will also follow any rules you have in place for your dog. Whatever you want for your dog I will deliver for you as I know how stressful it can be leaving your babies. We have two children who are 2 and 5, and whilst they love Maisie they leave her alone most of the time, with the occasional sneaky feeding of foods they don’t like! They are very used to dogs but I know some doggos don’t like small children so we wouldn’t be the right place for them if so. I will make sure you have photos and updates daily so you know how your dog is getting on 🐶❤️. For dog boarding we will usually only have one dog at a time (unless you have more than one dog) as we like to give the time and attention to your dog that they deserve! We may have another dog in the day time but we never have more than 3 in total including Maisie as I like to go on lots of walks which is difficult with more than three dogs! Altin loved his stay with Ruth and Maisie and we were very happy to have Ruth look after our lovely boy. Ruth gave us constant updates and photos via WhatsApp and we laughed at the antics he got up to. I'm sure he was a handful but Ruth said he was an angel and she was sorry to see him go. Altin made friends with Ruth's dog Maisie and they got up to lots of mischief together. We will definitely want Ruth to look after our little one again in the future and hopefully he will be welcome back. We highly recommend Ruth to others who are looking for a dog boarder. Thanks again to Ruth and Ryan for looking after Altin so well.
Absolutely fantastic! I cannot thank Ruth enough, Holly had an absolutely lovely stay and was a completely pampered pooch. I received regular updates and photos and I would not hesitate in recommending Ruth to anyone. Brilliant.
This is the second time Kitri stays with them. This time for 11 days. We had initially planned 10 days, but due to unplanned issues we needed to extend our trip and Ruth was amazing staying another day with her. Kitri was so happy, I am really glad that we could count on her. Thank you very much once again!
Ruth, Ryan and Maisie did an amazing job of looking after my fur-baby, Holly. She saw us last minute and completely put me at ease. She kept us updated with pictures and was very respectful of how we are with Holly. Holly genuinely didn't want to come home and ran back to Ryan when we were trying to leave! An absolute gem, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as sitters as well as being a thoroughly lovely couple and happy household. Thanks guys, we will see you again soon xx
Ruth and her partner are LOVELY with Pumpkin , not sure he even wanted to come home!! I would leave Pumpkin with them any time and Maisie looks just like Pumpkin so they are a matching set! Lol xx

A typical day
We usually do 2/3 walks a day - morning a short walk to the local playing fields and then afternoon/early evening we go somewhere further afield for a longer walk off lead (or on if you’re doggy is not so good with being off lead!) and then a late night walk round the block. But we are totally flexible and will follow your routine!
